That is a very nice tradition. Plus it gives you something to look back on and remember.

Graham your photos are getting better all the time. Mind that they were good when I first saw your images. Well done. The contrast in this pic is spot on!

Because this HDD can be used by many different systems it is not formatted at the factory. Once you format the drive you will be able to access it. The old command line program was called fdisk.exe. The old command line program to check the disk for unusable sectors was called chkdisk.exe. It still exists in Windows.

I have a Nikkor-Q 2.8 135mm in very nice shape. Non AI-S. I used to use it on my Nikon N90s. It is very clean and shows little wear. I take excellent care of my equipment because it costs so much to replace. If it would mount on my D2x I would keep it. Manual focus is a problem with me because my eyesight is failing.

One of the ways I used to use to try to illustrate mans brilliance is "Go to the middle of the forest naked, miles and miles from anything, now build a car." It gives you and idea of just how much is required to brings us, in time, to today.

Huddy Leadbetter (Lead Belly) and if you have not heard John Koerner, Tony Glover and Dave Ray all of "Blues Rags and Hollers" fame you have not really witness music that can move you.

I cannot believe how much it has changed since I was there last. Gaudi is not for everyone but I thought his designs were brilliant.

Just thought I would pass on a quick blurb about my little camera store being featured in the business section of the local paper, the largest paper in our secluded state. I wasn't impressed with the picture they used, but it was a blizzard outside so they couldn't take a shot of the store itself.
Its been a pretty slow month so far and I hope this drives a bit of Christmas business out my way. Nothing like a little free advertising!

Good luck to you my friend my heart and prayers are with you. I truly wish I lived close enough to use your services. I would be there all the time!

Does anyone fall for these. I get at least 6 or more a day. From internet lottery winnings in the UK to the Nigerian awards and "Can I deposit $3 mill in your bank account?".

I was living in Europe during the introduction of the Euro. Aside from it being a very historical moment it was interesting to see how the denominations would be handled. There was a 1 and 2 Euro cent coins. Withing 3 months all retailers rounded to the nearest 5 cents and discontinued the smaller coins. It truly was an interesting time to live there.
