Graham, although it's an excellent piece of artwork, you might want to lay off on that guy for a while. Just a friendly suggestion.:)

Don't worry ncshutterbug, it's all part of his act. He's a great guy and I have quite a few more images of him :-)

Not your best choice of subjects. Recommendation: clone out the guy to the left of center.

Impact! and lots of it. Love your dof on this one. The graffiti background is just soft enough to make your guy really jump out at me, and that's what I'm afraid he's going to do! It's startling. Great job, Graham. :-)

What a character! This image certainly does elicit an emotion. The focus and crispness is excellent. Not sure I would want to be hanging around much, but I will take your word for it that he is a "great guy".
I would be interested in seeing some of your other shots of him.

Graham your photos are getting better all the time. Mind that they were good when I first saw your images. Well done. The contrast in this pic is spot on!

Thanks nikonnut, as they say in the best acceptance speeches "I owe it all to the fabulous Nikkor 50mm f/1.2" This was at f/2.0, well within it's comfort zone.

What's the point of this shot?
Perhaps it could go on Chit-Chat!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment Nosaj. The point is that it shows a street performer during his act, it is a legitimate street photograph, I want critique and analysis on it. That you don't like the content and ask "what's the point" is neither critique nor analysis which to comply with the rules of this section you should provide.

Regards Graham

Looks like I'm not the only one in noncompliance!
So, the message in the image is not the image's real context!

Nosaj, Country's Mama and I are the only ones in this section who can determine what belongs in chit chat, and what does not. Please confine your comments to critiquing the photograph.
