Yes! If time and budget allow by all means go to RSA (Republic of South Africa). So much to offer. These penguins are indeed fascinating but don't get too close. They tolerate people but will show displeasure if one goes where one shouldn't.

Weather caution, if you'll be on the east side of Costa Rica you will need something to protect the equipment from the sudden downpours this time of year. It rains, a lot, especially near the coast. The west side of the country is in the dry season so that should be safe. If you go to the rain forest, well, they named it right.

You have a Mac, Photos has a pretty good, simple editing program. It does not have a selection feature if that's important to you.

If you like military aircraft, find some time to go to Wright-Patterson AFB around Dayton, OH. Budget 2 days to see all of The National Museum of the United States Air Force, 2 days seriously. Find the website and take the virtual tour for a preview. Astounding, awe inspiring. No admission charge, tax payer supported.

I had a problem with Apple in that GIMP was not available from the App Store. Therefore the Mac OS didn't like the application. I found a work around and that was ok. Then I discovered the only way to do a selection was with the pen tool. I'm not real good with the pen tool. So I bought PS Elements. At the time GIMP's user interface was awful, but I suppose if one got used to it, and could use the pen tool, then it'd be ok.

I wonder how much of the Fit's undercarriage and drivetrain has to be removed to get at the oil pan. Using the $125 labor rate mentioned above, 4 hours labor is $500. I'm making this up but it might be either raise the engine several inches or drop whatever passes for the K member to get at the oil pan. If so I'm not sure if I'd want a non Honda mechanic doing the work. Maybe there's a youtube video.

The larger question might be, what cracked the oil pan? Not something one hears everyday.

Or be of retirement age and be outside on a snow covered sunny day. After about 1/2 hour come inside and everything is pink. Look out the window and the snow is pink. The ophthalmologist says it's natural.

I replaced my D5300 with a D750 when Nikon cut the price of the D750 kit when they released the D780. The main advantage is low light performance, especially shadow areas. The downside is the D750 is heavier, I call it a tank. But it does NOT have a motor for manual lenses like your D7200. But there is the rangefinder option for manual focusing.

And I think the TR2 had a recessed grill, this one does not.

You will find you need two lenses, a good telephoto with a long reach and a good wide angle landscape lens. The scenery is terrific in spots, and then there's the wildlife. You will need the telephoto for the howler monkeys, other monkeys, and all the birds. Except at the hummingbird feeding station somewhere around Mt. Poa. And the bad news is you will want to carry both lenses all the time.

That's a very nice shot of a very quick car. A couple of things, I'm trying to conjure an image of a 1946 Sport Fury convertible modified to hold the 426 Hemi (aka "The Elephant"). On the Friday before Labor Day at the Indianapolis track (formerly Indianapolis Raceway Park or IRP) they hold the Hemi Shootout. 16 qualifying 60 and 70s Darts, Dusters, Cudas. Fun event, generally run around 9.5 at 140+ mph.

If you want to know how loud a hemi can be (and never hear again) attend an NHRA Nationals and don't use ear protection for the top fuel and fuel funny car elimination rounds. 12,000 hp from 500 cu in is LOUD. They run only 1,000 feet at 330 mph in 3.7 seconds. They need that extra 320 feet to slow down.

I've flown on an A380, nice plane, very smooth ride. Luggage retrieval can be an issue, rubbing shoulders with 500 other people. If you want to get a good case of the willies check out the Emirates Air commercials with the woman on the very top of the Burj Khalifa. Google will give you a choice of several. A380 in the background.

Ones we don't see much any more are 1957 Dodge "flipper" hubcaps. And the gaudy 59 Dodge Royal Lancer hubcaps. Seems like every other custom in the late 50s and early 60s had them.
