Last presidential election you had the choice of Hillary Clinton or Obama, from this side of the pond it looks like you made the right choice, Obama appears to be trying to help the ordinary working people, Mitt Romney like the conservatives over, here always seem to help their rich croney friends get richer. We only see the headline speaches so never get to know much detail imho election speeches can not be trusted and I am glad I live in the UK good luck

When a file is deleted or damaged, only part of the file is deleted the bit that shows the computer/camera that it is there.
It is not gone until written over.
I agree with earlier post I used recuva for a similar problem some while ago it was free and got all my files back, but it does take some time so you have to be patient.

We were in a hurry to get back for the ferry, so I could not stick around to find out how they were used.
The picture was taken on the way back from Noirmontier in the Bendee region.
Thanks for looking.

to glojo can I ask how long after your OEM ink ran out was it before you tried the cheap ink. Your printer may have been toast before you replaced the ink I have lost a printer before because the ink dried up.I was unable to clear the blockage and printers are uneconomic to repair. Have you ever read micromart they suggested in one article to print something at least once a week and never let the ink run out. The high price of OEM ink can temp you to ration printing that is not good for the printer.

I use cheap ink of ebay have done for years with no problem IMO branded ink is a rip off your printer problem is more likely blocked jets check your printer utilities and put it through a clean and print check.
then blame the ink if it does not work looks like the yellow is blocked STEVE

press f8 during start up and start windows in safe mode, then do a virus scan you have a much better chance if it is a vius of getting rid of it in safe mode. Of course it could be something simply like just getting too hot.

picasa is just indexing the pictures, it leaves them in my pictures folder yes it will delete pictures on external drives there is a check box to stop that it thinks you are importing from a card and want to empty the card to use again it finds all the pictures in your whole computer but so you can see what you have, but they still exist in there original locations do not panic trust it then user the tools tab to back up all your pictures to an external drive, it will not copy duplicate files and will do incremental back ups when required.

I use eneloop batteries in my pentax k-x they hold there charge much longer than regular rechargeable batteries,I have had no problems with them holding there charge. Are you sure you have not been sold counterfeit ones
As others have suggested I use the new nickel zinc 1.6v in my cheap compact as it is very sensitive to a small voltage drop and does not like the eneloop low voltage check ebay for NIZN .
