I watch the 'Woot' site everyday and they run at least two or three deals per month on refurbished Mac's (and other brands). Over the years, I've purchased a lot of stuff from this site and have never been disappointed. And if you're an Amazon Prime member, you get free shipping:

Digital cameras don't work that way. Take the digital images and merge in software like PSE on your computer. Assuming 'double exposure' in the sense of exposing the same frame of film twice...

Yes, that's how I was able to produce the image below, by taking a sequence of shots and then merging them together using PhotoShop:

Sequence of shots of the October 2023 annular eclipse, as seen from Hobbs, New Mexico - October 2023 - Sony a6000, 18-135mm

Love traveling the world with you.

Yes, I've visited 33 countries and flown over 5 million miles during my 49+ years working as an engineer. I've also been to all 50 states plus Puerto Rico, as well as several Canadian provinces, and again, most of them for my work.

Just a bit of an update...

During 2023, we made the full cycle; trains, planes and automobiles.

In May we took the train to Houston for granddaughter #4's high school graduation (as reported in this thread).

Then in August, we flew to Detroit, Michigan for our youngest son's wedding.

And then in October, we drove to Hobbs, New Mexico for the annular eclipse, to complete the cycle.

I had that problem, not accepting non-Sony OEM batteries with my DSLR's. However, with my Sony mirrorless cameras, an a6000 and an a6500, I haven't had that problem. In addition to a couple of Sony OEM batteries, I've got two slightly higher-capacity batteries from SR (Sun Room), which have been fine, and one high-capacity battery from DSTE (I had a few of these, but all but one died). My latest purchase was a couple of batteries from Duracell, virtually the same capacity as the Sony OEM's. Note that Sony OEM batteries are 7.2V while all the others are rated at 7.4V. Also the Sony OEM's capacity is listed as 1020mAh, the Duracell's are listed as 1030mAh, the two SR's are 1150mAh and the single remaining DSTE is rated at 1950mAh.

Over the years I've been burned buying what I thought were high-capacity, but inexpensive batteries for my Sony mirrorless cameras (Sony's eat batteries alive). I still have a couple of the Sony OEM NP-FW50 batteries, but they're getting old. I recently bought a couple of equivalent Duracell batteries and they've been working fine. Now these are not high-capacity, virtually the same as the Sony OEM batteries, but they were reasonably priced ($56 for a pair). At the moment I've got five batteries (four in my field bag, one in the camera) for my mainline camera, and two in my macro camera kit (both the mainline Sony a6500 and the dedicated macro camera, a Sony a6000, use the same batteries).

The Panasonic Lumix DMC G3K is hardly a new camera, and at only 16Mp, I think you could do better than that. If you're looking for something 'compact', I'd opt for a mirrorless, like my Sony a6500. It does everything that I need (except geo-tag my images and for that I shoot a companion shot with my iPhone, which I then archive with the images from my shooting session).
