Require every citizen to carry a gun and require range time every month. The govt can pay for the range time and ammo. NRA can have the contract to provide the weapons.

Phones vs cameras
My wife just returned from a mission trip to Mexico. Several people took pictures and videos with their phones. She put together a slide presentation using them to she in church, and watching the presentation you would never guess those were not taken with regular cameras.

Will someone please explain to me how
Looks aren't everything. You get what you pay for. I don't have any of their products but those who buy them appear to love them.
I shoot with Canon 1D bodies. Please explain to me why they are worth as much as they sell for. I don think they are, but it's all I shoot with and I own three of them and getting ready to buy the 1dx2.

Church mission trip
My wife led a mission team comprised of nine members of her congregation and one girl from the Catholic Church to Jaurez Mexico. They built a house for a woman who has 5 children. On the return trip they spent a day at a water park and had a lot of fun. So proud of them. I don't sleep well when she is away from home, so finally getting some sleep again.
On the photo side:
They took a lot of cell phone pictures that my wife made a slide show from and showed it in church this morning. You would never know they were from a cell phone.

A New Deadly Weapon - The Silencer
I know a young woman who would like to go to the gun range and shoot. However she has a medical issue and cannot tolerate loud noises like fireworks or a siren. A silencer would allow her to have fun at the gun range with her friends and family. So there is a legitimate reason for some people to own a suppressor.

And lest we forget, the silencer was not the problem, the one using it was.

Russia did it to make mass arrests for their forced labor camps that held 12million at any given time. Hitler did it with his concentration camps too. North Korea does it now. If they arrest a family member chances are the entire family is going to prison...for three generations. US did it to the Japanese during the war.
Thank you congress for not knowing your world history...or just wanting to continue doing it under a different name.

Fedex does it again
BnH wanted about $45 to ship the lens with UPS so I did Fedex for the free shipping. I am ordering a microscope soon and will probably pay the extra shipping for UPS.

Fedex does it again
I ordered the Canon 17-40 f4 because it was on sale from $800 to $500 at BnH. Received a text that it had been delivered yesterday, but I was at home and so I knew it wasn't. Called BnH and Fedex and reported it. About an hour later the driver comes to the house with the package.

Last month it was something else they dropped off at a wrong address. But don't remember what.

A couple of years ago they delivered an Apple MacBook Pro to an address in another town.

I think I am done with them.

Anyone else having issues with them?
