Over half of the US deaths have been in New York and adjacent New Jersey. If half the US deaths were in Montana, would New York and New Jersey have shut down in response?

This is at least the fifth version I've seen of this from an unsigned, unnamed "ER Doc", distributed by a nurse who is someone's high school biology teacher's cousin, fabricating data out of whole cloth. We haven't the slightest clue what the mortality rate is, because we don't know how many people have already had it and been asymptomatic, or so mildly sick as to not have sought professional care.

There were even some of these stories from "Italy", 1000 words plus, written in perfect English by an "ER Doc" who was up to his elbows in dying patients. Sure.

It seems that a lot of people don't really understand what money is. Money is nothing more than a representation of WORK.

If no one can work, all the pensions and printed out of whole cloth cash in the world mean nothing. As time goes on with so much of the world shut, we're going to run out of pretty much everything. Take nothing for granted. Social Security and Medicare payroll tax income is collapsing. State and local sales tax collections are way down. People are lining up at food banks in unbelievably long lines. This is not sustainable.

The vulnerable, and we know very clearly who we are, should isolate and protect OURSELVES. The rest have to be allowed to resume their lives, or it will all come tumbling down.

I'm one of the vulnerable ones.

Try another cable as a test. I've seen VGA cables do this, color shift just from touching or wiggling the cable. Do the digital connections (HDMI, DVI) do this? I don't know, but this sure sounds like the experience I had with a VGA cable once upon a time.

I own Pentax, Nikon (mostly what I shoot), Panasonic, and Fuji cameras. My favorite menu system is the Fuji.

How about the Nikon D5500? Just last night I switched my D500 and D750 over to BBF, but couldn't find anything on the D5500.

I have a D3300 setup to back button focus....works great. It seems likely the D5500 could be likewise.

The Nikon D series lenses with the adjustable f stop ring will NOT autofocus on your camera, nor on any of the 3000 and 5000 series cameras. Stick with the G series lenses on that body.

About a year ago I bought a Nikon D3300 body (for travel...nice and light) from KEH, a "BGN" rated piece. I couldn't fine a flaw on it, and only 7000 shutter count. I'll be on the lookout for KEH's BGN bargains.

Each album in your Google Photos has its own set of options, so you'll have to do this for each album. With an album open in a web browser:

click the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner/click "Options"/slide the slider off on "Comments and Likes"

....Now reconsidering and looking at weather resistant-dust resistance Fujifilm S1 with 1200mm max range!...

I have a Fuji S1, as well as several Nikon DX cameras, so I am accustomed to making and seeing high quality images. I am often amazed at the quality of the images from the Fuji and its tiny sensor. It's not much good in low light, but outdoors in daylight, using some sort of stabilization technique, that looong zoom is quite something. This was shot at 125th/sec with the camera only partially stabilized sitting on a porch railing. It was shot as a JPEG and post processed using ACDSee and Topaz Studio AI Sharpen. The zoom is all the way, 1200mm full frame equivalent.

The camera handles nicely too, though the EVF, being an older model, is marginal.

The largest print that Walgreens makes on real photo paper is 8x10. Their larger sizes are on a different paper they call "poster" paper. The quality difference is tremendous. See the Walgreens Photo website.

What do you think the Italian restaurant situation is going to be like?

It's been two or three years since I was there, so who knows if it's still the same, but Angelo's in nearby Shallotte was very, very good. A real surprise in such a small town.
