I used to do this with film. Mostly did it looking through an open door. Set up on tripod, snap a shot, cock the camera without advancing the film and not moving camera, then take another shot with the door closed. Viola ghostly pics. You could see everything on the other side of the doorway wth the door being transparent.
And no I haven't figured out (yet) how to do digitally to get what I want.

Worm holes have been proven mathematically that they can exist. As for physical proof, well I don't know how that could be accomplished except to travel through one, so you are wrong. You sound like the skeptics that told Hawking that his treatise on Black Holes was flawed even after having reworked it to include the warpage of space and time at the Event Horizon. Do the research, but look in the right place. Also, playing the Cancer card because you didn't have an adequate response was really crude. If you tried to upset me, you didn't. I'm done with this site. There are many others out there. Maybe I'll take a Wormhole over to one.

You asked where I had been and I answered with the real facts. There was no speculation or internet or what I thought. Just plain old fact as to where I had been period. But it is good that I or we or whoever doesn't need to go out of our way to tell someone or something where they need to go for some just go on their own.

The existence of wormholes has been proven. As for the comment about the grainy pics with old film cameras, you are right. Now there are high definition videos that would shock most people. Additionally, as for sightings, since 2009 the number of reported sightings has doubled and redoubled each year since. Also, the number of reports that have made it to print or video of the Liberal controlled media have followed the same exponential increase. Where have you been?

Well I have been sick for the last year or so fighting cancer and with that have been consuming a lot of oxycodone. (Legal for me) But I did google it and you are somewhat correct in what I found. After all we do know if it is on the so called "net" it is all true.

So how long did it take to build that model? How big was the box it came in? What kind of glue did you use?

Ever wonder why that back in the days of FILM photography, every year there was a very grainy pic of a ufo somewhere in the world, and now that EVERYONE is carrying a cell phone, with a camera in it, that you just NEVER see those pics anymore? I guess it could be coincidence.
Don't get me wrong but I find it hard to fathom that in this vast universe that this blue planet is the only place that could contain living matter. When we consider we have leaped further in the last 100 years than we did in the first few hundred thousand. We are still really ignorant to what we haven't found or figured out yet.

I have learned loads of information from UHH and it always keeps my "new thought / new idea" list going strong.
I just came across this site and thought it might spark some ideas. It has me digging around in some old boxes.

Thanks everyone and keep up the good work.

Isn't it strange that now that everyone is walking around with a camera in their hand that you never hear about ufo's or people being kidnapped by aliens anymore?

As with everything els what works for some (supposedly) doesn't work for others. The dryer sheets and the listerene seems to work fairly well here in Oregon, but we don't have much of a problem when compared to other parts of the world. Especially Florida. I also worked at Manatee County Mosquito Control years ago and, thanks to this post, am starting to remember some of those days. I have sprayed a lot of oil and emulsifier on standing water to kill larve. We had a trap but was a live trap that used dry ice and a black light for attraction. Those samples were taken back to the lab for species identification. We also did human "live counts". We walked into a area, wearing a short sleeved shirt, and counted how many mosquitos landed on your arms in a 1 minute period. Depending on what that count was determined if we were going to "fog" the area that night to kill them off.
Yes mosquitos are attracted to CO2 and heat, but also to alcohol and an ungodly amount of aromas. All that neat modern stuff we bathe in, wash our hair with, spray or roll onto our underarms, splash on our face or put a touch behind our ears...need I go on? Well guess what, all of that stuff is full of those aromas and alcohol and just makes us a smorgasborg for them critters! When I first started there I was the only one getting bit. It didn't take long to figure out the best smelling best looking guy was the lunch ticket. It also didn't take me long to change the way I did things. Now if you think about it, we are coating ourselves with chemicals, some of them I am sure are toxic in enough quantity or concentration, to look and smell pretty, and then we slather on a known toxic chemical to ward off undesireables. Ain't technology great. :)

Just so I have this right. You are saying, that every single police officer in NYC is stupid and ignorant. And you arrivedat this conclusion how? Like to know what your occupation is and if you feel the same towards yourself and your colleagues.

I came to this conclusion from personal experience over the course of 40 odd years. During that time there were numerous situations where their assistance was necessary and they shirked their responsibility. And other times they clearly had broken the law and their actions were covered up immediately by other boys in blue.

My depressed state is in need of some photography. Isn't that what we came here for?
And the last time I checked I was entitled to express my feelings.
Can we please get back to the photography forum...

Looks like an old pic to me, and I like the halo effect too. Good job. I think it would look good in sepia also.

Wow 1/1000s? I guess I need to try that. Guess at that speed I didn't think the hole would be big enough to let the light in for a moon shot. As usual preconceived thoughts are a draw back.

Funny I have asked a whole bunch of electricians that same question and was always told it was a "shunt" and they had no idea as to what it was really for. I guess I know now. Thank you!
