I wanted a little extra effect on this picture, hopefully made it look like an older print. Let me know what you think. Imaage taken from 10th floor of the old Hotel Utah.
Great job, looks like a picture from an early 1900's Life magazine.

I haven't dabbled in HDR yet, but I love the shot. Is it possible to dial back, or clone out the halo around the steeple? That's the only thing that seems to detract from the photo for me.
Thanks for the comments. I actually wanted the Halo because I felt like it made the picture look old or antique. Reminds me of pictures I saw of this building when I was young, but we all see things differently, and I understand what you are saying.

Looks like an old pic to me, and I like the halo effect too. Good job. I think it would look good in sepia also.
Real Nice...Check the Horizon Line.
Great Job.
Overall it is a very dramatic image and very cool. For me though, I would straighten the horizon and fix the lens distortion. Also, you have that typical halo effect as seen with a lot of HDR processed images.
Wonderful subject for a B&W. I sort of like the halo in this one. You've already been "smacked" around for the horizon so I won't go there. :)
Nice job Mike , for me the halo adds to it
Its a fantastic subject for HDR and I appreciate the desire for the older print. Normally I would be concerned about the amount of noise in the sky but in this case it probably suits the sort of effect you are trying to achieve. I am not convinced by the halo, I guess the test would be to see a version without a halo and compare but again I appreciate the effect you were after so it may just come down to a matter of taste in which case I go with what you wanted to do. I like the heavy contrast in some ways as it makes for a quite stark image but there are a lot of highlights on the roofs on the left and on the side of the temple facing the sun that have lost all of the detail by being, in my opinion, too bright. Equally there are a lot of dark areas, particularly in the two spaces between the sections of the wall on the right which have come out black or nearly black. For me HDR is about bringing out the details across the full dynamic range. Doesn't change the fact that its quite a powerful image.
