My bridge camera Sony RX 10 IV has an EVF and incredible phase detection focus. At my age the lenses for my Canon became too heavy to handle so after reviewing this camera I sold everything and will never look back. It has a fixed lens but it is a 24mm to 600mm and it weighs the same at each. Love it

BTW the Canon 8720 prints up to 13 x 19 which was important for my use

My Canon pro 100 decided to be a paperweight by not being capable of printing Blue or Black without a pink cast. I just purchased another Canon ip 8720 for about $350 and so far so good

i like the shot a lot and in lrcc I would adjust the color sliders especially the blues and of course oranges more radiant

I too am a hobbyist not quite a professional. I have a SONY RX10 mk4 and a Canon Pixma pro 100 printer that has turned on me. It served me well and all of a sudden my blacks have a magenta cast and my blues turn more purple. Any one have a similar problem. Canon tech did all he could and finally said it probably is internal hardware problem. So now I have a forty lb paperweight. Suggestions are welcome and suggestions for a new printer also welcome
Similar Canon owner with bad hands and weak bones. Sold the Canon equipment and bought this terrific camera years ago. I luv it and whatever you ask it's on YouTube, setting it up to advanced techniques. But tell your wife to get beyond Auto, this camera will make her proud
