I wish topics from years ago could be deleted. I search for information and get something written in 2013. I don’t want to sift through all the search items to find up to date relevant information. Wish there was a “search” option in each filter. Just offering suggestions.
When you search, click "advanced options" and then check "show only recent topics."

Instead of the previous well organized site...
Did someone get lazy???
Because this new layout is alot of work to get threw...
Does anyone feel the same????
There are 40+ threads about this topic in the Chit-Chat Section.
The site does not have a new layout. The daily Digest format was changed, but the Digest is only a selection of the threads that have had the most activity recently. It is not a list of the most recent posts.
The fact that so many users of the Digest think that the format of the UHH website has changed, shows that the Digest is not an accurate way to use the website. Only a way to see the most active sites.

If you go to the Home page, you will see a list of all topic titles.
If you don't mind a small revision:
If you go to the Home page, you will see a list of the sections to which you have subscribed, plus a link to "All Sections." This link takes you to a page where you can subscribe or unsubscribe to any of the 54 Sections on UHH.

I just noticed that the postings are not provided with the most recent, first. I was looking at several September 23 postings and then noticed the next was from last June and many others were days to weeks old. What gives with that?
The Digest is only a selected list that, according to the UHH Help Section, "contains the most active forum discussions." Thus it does not include all posts or topics, whether new or old. Speculating here, but perhaps they are listed in order of their level of "activity" rather than chronologically.
At any rate, if you limit your UHH experience to the Digest, rather than the Forum, you will miss any number of new posts and new topics that do not meet the criterion of "most active," but you will see older threads that have had more "activity" recently.

Not a fan of this new lack of format (sigh) is there an option to see UHH the way it was?
Actually UHH has not changed, and you can definitely see UHH the way it has been.
The change was only made to the
Digest, which is a daily
selection of the most active posts on the Forum. It is not a list of all new posts, so if you rely on the Digest, you will miss many of the new posts.
To quote UHH itself:
"The digest is run separately from the forum. So it's possible to be registered on the forum, but not signed up for the digest."
In fact, a large percentage of UHHers do not use the Digest. Rather, they have subscribed to the sections that interest them, so they are able to log in to the forum, click "Newest Topics" and see everything new in the subjects they've chosen.

I purchased AI, and like it. I also have the sharpen program, and now when I try to open it, it doesn't work. I assumed that AI took it over somehow?
Are you using the stand-alone Topaz products or the plug-ins?
I have the stand-alone versions and can use Photo AI, Sharpen AI, DeNoise AI and Gigapixel AI.
Can't advise on whether the plug-ins work independently or if Photo AI might replace the other(s).
Also note that all 4 apps are "AI," not just the newer Photo AI.

But this photo AI is supposed to do it all...
My question is, is the upgrade worth it for me. If I do get it, does all the other stuff become obsolete?
Any input will be very appreciated.
Photo AI indeed does it all, but I think that the individual modules do it better. AI Sharpen sharpens better and DeNoise AI does a better job, than Photo AI can do.
There is a free trial so you could see how effective Photo AI is for you.

No. "My Topics" takes you to a list of topic you alone started -- you were the OP. Your subscribed topics are under "Newest Topics", as I originally described. "Watched Topics" are those where you've interacted (started combined with your replies combined with any you've watched).
I stand corrected. Thank you.

This is not correct (at least for people who participate in the forum). If someone is logged in, I was told to simply use the curser (pointer for guys like me) and click on 'my topics'. It takes you to all the available options.
That will not take you to all the available options. "My Topics" only takes you to the topics to which you are subscribed.
As Chg_Canon suggested, The "All Sections" link at the
bottom of every page - in tiny print - will show you every topic, and permit you to subscribe or unsubscribe to each one, according to your interests.
After that, the "My Topics" link will take you to all of your sections of interest.
Hope you're feeling better and able to get back to photography soon.
