We know your grief and sorrow. We have had to put 2 of our canine children to sleep in the past and know how painful it is. We think they are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Our little Biscuit was 16, blind and deaf too. They are never forgotten.
I was not aware of this. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

You are describing my activity 2 days a week-----LOL !!!
I have been using the op tech bino/cam harness strap for years. Have one for all the heavy camera/lens combo's like d90, d7000 with 70-300 or 18-200 etc. Mine are the stretch versions, but the regular fabric versions work well too. They really take the weight off the neck. The were made for binoculars but work just fine for cameras. I'm very pleased with mine. Got mine from B & H and they still sell them for about $20.00
Been a Nikon shooter since the mid-70's. My old film favorites were the FE and FE2. I still have an FE2 with a 28, 50, and 75-150 sitting happily in retirement, but taken out and fired at least once a month. Went digital years ago with a D50. Still have it and use it, but upgraded to the D90 when it came out, and later to a D7xxx and a D3xxx. I know the D7xxx and 3xxx have more mpg's and other new (better ?) features, but I really like the D90. In fact bought a 2nd used one a few months ago. No valid reason or need---just wanted another body to play with. So--right now, the D90 is my favorite---- I like to use it. It takes all my lenses. I am used to the controls, image quality is fine, it is reliable, light weight, and suits my needs. There are no plans to buy any newer bodies at this time----
Exactly my experience. Became Red Sox fan when I lived in Massachusetts----Moved to south Florida 39 and attend a few spring training and minor league games but major league ball does not interest me any more.
