First time processing in the new Photoshop Version 24.0.0 and after bringing in my raw file .CR3 into Adobe Camera Raw, then clicking on Open to get it into Photoshop, I am unable to perform a SAVE AS to a .jpg. The default is a .psd, but the Only JPEG choice is JPEG 2000 .jpf
There is no selection in the list for regular jpeg, .jpg
I've done this thousands of time in older versions of Photoshop.
Anyone understand why there is not a .jpg option?
Is Adobe killing off the old JPEG??

Cell phones don't have telephoto capabilities they have enlarge and crop capabilities, prove to urself take pic of the moon with ur cell phone now with ur DSLR now zoom in with each notice the lack of detail with that item designed to make calls and how much better a real camera looks remember a phone is small and has a small sensor a real cameras only purpose is to take photos it's cpu does only photo stuff it may not help u look up a number or call someone that's what phones r for but DSLRs r made to take photos and do that very well because that's all they do

Basically it is a scam as everything that is described existed before.

The idea is to use a camera full sensor and adjust the video size by cropping in post. Oh, and yeah, you can shoot a vertical video just like a 'smartphone'!!! This is progress today...

Sorry, there is NOTHING new. Cropping/resizing are already part of post-processing a video.

It is similar to Adobe promoting 'smart objects' as a new item when it existed before, the difference they sued for their 'new' 'smart object'? It was ACR default. Since the default has returned to a rasterized default layer with a whimper.
