Is Adriana an OK company to deal with?

I'll never use them again.
Years ago I had an issue over a minor purchase, under $50, there was an issue and got the run around from he'll. It might have been under $25.
They lost me for life. I use Woodland hills in CA for telescope stuff. Also use B H for local shopping.
Run don't walk from them

I have used Adorama for numerous purchases over the years and have not had any problems dealing with them. I have also used the printing service without issue. My most recent purchase was late last year, an Oly Pro lens. They observe Jewish holidays like B&H. I have no complaints.

Have a look at Abe's of Maine if you really want low prices.

Good morning, very sorry to bother you, you are (in a good way) very visible and I am not that technically minded. I tried to sell my L mount perfect, almost new lens (4) Sigma
Zero requests except “ show pictures”…
Could you possibly explain, how….
In a not to technical method
After I take 4 pix with my iPhone then??
Thank you in advance

I don’t know about Adriana, but I have had great experience with Adorama!

Adorama used to be good, but the past two experiences I've had with them have made me cautious about them. The last time I sent equipment in, it was over three weeks after they received it before I got a response, and them I had to call 4 times to get it. When I declined their offer, they said they would send me a tracking number for the return shipment. That was two weeks ago and I haven't been able to contact the trades department by phone or email. They are either real busy or shorthanded.

Are issues with their used-equipment purchasing applicable to their sales of New equipment? Or even to their sales of Used equipment?

You must be joking. Every thing I heard about Abe’s scares me.

I live in Brooklyn, about 15 miles away. Both ADORAMA and B&H are great stores and are far above the rest.
I have no complains about either.

What ever I need and my wife prohibits me from buying they usually have. I have never gone wrong.

CHG_CANON was just being sarcastic. Why he felt the need to do so in this situation, I can't say.

When there's a Q&A and non-sensical attacks on an established leader in the industry, we sometimes need a reminder there are other options ....

I no longer use Adorama as B&H has PayBoo. That can be a significant saving when you get into serious $. I've never put Adorama in the same league as B&H even without PayBoo, especially of late with the used equipment complaints posted here on UHH.

I have purchased from Adorama before and never had an issue. However, I do most of my photo and computer purchasing from B&H. I have called several times with questions and have always received great information and help from them.

Careful, someone might take your advice seriously.
