See my answer to Robert.
It was just an exercise to see what is the actual time at max continuous rate to reach the design limit.
This was not a serious attack just to see how long it would take to reach 500,000 at 16 fps.
I doubt anyone has ever thought of this here in this way before.

Got it now! Too early for me when I first read.

Canon 5D Mark iv 5.95 hours
Nikon D850 7.94 hours
Nikon D5 9.26 hours

The 1Dx miii is in the same range. What’s the issue?

Photography is an expensive hobby. Stamp collecting is not.

Very nice shot Bill. My favorite park also. I used to shoot there often. Many years ago my father owned a dry cleaning business on Highwood Terrace. I used to work there on weekends and walk down to the park and take pics. I still remember the old wooden posts from the remains of the piers. Again, very nice work!

This is a data point that I use when making a similar decision. I look at the percentage of 4 + 5 star reviews on the B&H site for each camera. In this case, the D850 scored 96.5% and the Z7 scored 93.2%.

I don’t make a final decision on numbers alone but if it is a tie, this breaks it. Good luck.

I’m not clear on your post. All 3 cameras you mentioned shoot video. Why do you need to add another device?

Can be upgraded when your budget allows with more DRAM.

MacBooks from 2015 and later are not user accessible to upgrade DRAM. You have to buy the machine in the configuration you want up front.

Some people can read War and Peace and come away thinking it's a simple adventure story. Others can read the ingredients on a chewing gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe — Lex Luthor

I took a similar River photo not that long ago. I’ll let it go for only $2.1 million. Pm me if interested.

I think in the most basic sense, a bad photographer thinks they are good because they don’t understand the rules of art (yes, art has rules). Without that understanding, they are they are not really “seeing” what they produced. Also, they are told they are good photographers by people who see their work, praise it, but they in turn do not really understand what makes a good photograph.

Quick google search and found this:

“A Kilfitt fern-kilar f/5.6 400mm telephoto lens was used throughout most of the movie when the character L, B, Jefferies played by James Stewart uses his camera with a telephoto lens when looking through his rear window. The 35mm film camera was an Exakta VX Ihagee Dresden the Exakta logo was covered by a piece of black material in the movie.”

I disagree. It is obvious that is the first time he has been on that road. By,the looks of it he may have seen it and started to stop. If not more of the trailer would have been under the structure.

None of what you just said can be derived from the picture. He is the driver and he is at fault. Anything else is conjecture.

Before I would blame the driver, I might take a look at the GPS that sent him on that road.

If you look closely, there is a sign on the trestle that states the height at 10’ and some inches (blurry on the pic). So yes, I would blame the driver.
