My daughter is visiting for a few days with Rufus in tow. The first photo is Rufus at 8 weeks. He is currently 18 month old, weighing 15 pounds and still growing. The last three were taken today.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think it is Hunting Island State Park. Not to be confused with Huntington Beach State Park which is near Murrells Inlet, SC., North of Charleston. Hunting Island is a great location.

It is Hunting Island State Park as stated in the intro.

Hunting Beach State Park is located south of Charleston, just north of Hilton Head. The photos were taken there several years ago. The tide was low exposing the sand dollars. The park has cabins, camping, swimming, and is just beautiful.

With surroundings as beautiful as that, how do you make yourself stay in the workshop. Oh, you must work at night?
Beautiful photos.

If your new computer will support 4K give that serious consideration in your new monitor. I recently purchased a Dell monitor with it. The difference, to me, is amazing.

Another antique: This time an old ironing machine from the porch of my favorite BBQ restaurant. Comments are always welcome.

Last Thursday, my wife and I had lunch at our favorite BBQ restaurant near Latta, SC. On the front porch of the country store there, a number of antiques items are on display. There were several "new" antiques on display. Several photos of these are attached. The first two photos show a device that was driven by a belt drive. I have no idea what it was used for? The second set of photos picture what must have been one of the very early electric ranges. Note the plug on the cord. It must have operated on 240 volts. The plug does not have a grounding promg. It was surely used before the three-prong plug grounding wiring was required. Makes you wonder if anyone was electrocuted with the plumbing located in the kitchen.

If you are near a Costco, I suggest you check out a desktop HP i7, 32 G,1000 g ssd, and other niceties for $999.99 starting tomorrow. I have one purchased less than 30 days ago for $1299. Tomorrow I will be able to get $300 back because of the less than 30-day purchase. So far, I think it is an excellent purchase. The monitor is not included. The monitor in use is a HP 27in that came with an HP from 8 years ago. It works just fine but I may get a new monitor eventually.
