There are millions of Americans who no longer have full-time private jobs with benefits because of many of those government employees supporting the failing policies of this administration. I have a difficult time feeling any pity for them. And this from me, who had a government job for 16 1/2 wasted years a couple of decades ago, and was send home for a prior shutdown. Let it shut down, and stay shut down.

Exactly what evidence do you have that she is a member of the TEA Party? Seems to me that the use of the term "teabagger" pretty much puts her solidly in the liberal muck and mire.

Merriam Webster online: Ad hominem definition "marked by or being an attack on an opponent's character rather than by an answer to the contentions made"

Your first paragraph: "I have always believed that the right manufactures conspiracies. That they spin crazy byzantine theories about what their "lefty" president is doing. For the most part, I think they're lunatics."

If I may borrow your reply to me, "You'd actually sound mildly imtelligent (sic) had you actually learned the definition of ad hominem." Q.E.D.

But then came the IRS. The AP. Obama has given his enemies credence - a quality they did not possess before - and has forced all of us to look at him with nothing but skepticism. I was not a fan of this president, and I can tell you he is no liberal, but I didn't ascribe evil motives to him. Notice the past tense. Pity, he could have been a beacon of good.

I always love it when the liberals preface their main arguments by taking ad hominem shots. That's usually a dead giveaway that everything they're saying is actually a load of crap -- particularly the preface. "byzantine theories"? "they're lunatics"? "beacon of good"? Give me a break...

Everyone who speaks in public misspeaks on occasion. Obama talking about 57 states. Biden letting the f-bomb slip out. Palin talking about our North Korean allies. Or being at war with Iraq and Iran. Those kinds of things are understandable.

But Sarah Palin elevates ignorance to another plane entirely. Listed below are direct quotes from her, along with the source for each one.

Make sure you read the last one, which is the reply to s reasonable question, not a "gotcha" question as she claimed. It's a doozie.

—Sarah Palin, quitting her job as governor, July 3, 2009

'''Refudiate,' 'misunderestimate,' 'wee-wee'd up.' English is a living language. Shakespeare liked to coin new words too. Got to celebrate it!'''

What cave have you been living in for the last 5 years? Were you in another country without access to any information?

How about when she said she could see Russia from her house?

How about writing answers to questions on her hand?

How about not being able name a single Supreme Court case she disagreed with?

How about not being able to name a single magazine or newspaper that she read regularly?

Thank you for attacking me before you replied to my question. All I wanted to know was what occurrences you used to come to your conclusions. Too many statements touted as truth, which are actually opinion, are tossed out on the internet in an attempt to smear someone, such as you did. I also noticed your very first choice was actually from Tina Fey's comedy routine, so I'm inclined to believe you get your news from the Comedy Channel.

As far as writing questions on her hand, I don't think we can let that pass without pointing out Obama's dependency on teleprompters. Concerning the Supreme Court, how about Obama carelessly attacking the Supreme Court during the 2010 State of the Union? And, quite frankly, I don't read magazines or newspapers either, particulary the news magazines or opinion sections as they have been taken over by progressive liberals.

Oh, and my cave is named Alabama. Do me a favor and stay in California where you can pay taxes to your heart's content, and you can pay homage to your great god Buffoonery and his little dog Ignorance.

Apparently, his manhood shriveled up and fell off despite his heroic efforts as a Naval aviator during the Gulf War and his piloting the shuttle into space several times.
