Citizens complain, rightfully so, about the negative impact of immigrants because of the financial burden. The financial burden would be outweighed if these people were allowed to work. That's one reason there are here... to work.
At less than 4% unemployment, and thriving economy... we need workers.

And the Democratic party needs v**ers for life.
That's why they are here.

I just use a nondescript (third party) wide strap with clips and D-rings on the camera for my DSLR.
My current denim strap is pushing 50 years old.
No added features or functions on the strap.
The strap on my Sony H-1 is the OEM strap (It's a little camera).

I took the strap off my camera and replaced it with a 3" wide soft strap.
The strap that came with my Sony a7RV was simply too narrow and thin for comfort.
The strap brand that I'm using now is an OP/Tech USA brand that I got was from B&H.
My lenses are just too heavy with my camera for the original strap to be comfort.

That's a tough call. I'd take a chance on the generic toner, depending on reviews. If you can get the printer for $25, you might be able to sell it for twice that price at your own yard sale.

It does work, right?

I once bought something at a yard sale, and I had to have it repaired, although the seller said that it worked. I forget what it was, but it was worth having it repaired. I think it was an IBM Selectric typewriter, and the repair didn't cost much at all.

I wish you weren't so far from here.
I repaired Selectrics for 9 years and I could have got you going for free.
Of course, I no longer have my tools now.

I went to estate sales Friday and saw they have a color laser printer which is in good condition for $50. I think I can get it for $25 but the toners are almost completely out. 2 of the colors are empty. So if I get it it would be expensive to get a set of toner cartridges.

Bye chance have you looked into "LD PRODUCTS . com".
They sell reconditioned Cartridges .
I use them also for my Ink Cartridges.
They guarantee their products for life.
Go give them a look see.

I ordered a new cordless mouse so I would have one less wire to deal with. Thinking it would be better because it had a higher model number and a higher price, I ordered the Logitech M705. I'm not thrilled with this. In standard form, the wheel spins freely, which means the cursor or page moves more than I want it to when I use the wheel. I discovered that pushing on the top button adds clicks to the wheel, but they are so faint that I wasn't sure they were there. I think I'm going to return this and get an M505, which I've used before.

If any of you use the M705, I be glad to hear your opinions.

I use a Logitec performance MX Cordless and love it. You can set all the functions like you want.
Been using it so much that I have even bought a back up.

As posted last week, I had to reinstall Win 11 and recover all my settings, data and apps. At this point I believe full recovery and restore are 95% complete. My mouse has been a bit erratic, so I visited Win 11 mouse settings. I played with a few settings for a couple of days, but the behavior was still slow and erratic. About 15 minutes ago I decided to DUH - CHANGE THE BATTERIES! I had erroneously assumed the reinstallation of the OS was the cause of the weird behavior. Voila!! Think simple first!

I have an excuse I can use - I just had my 87th birthday last week. Thinking simply is not automatic!!
My mouse and I wish you a wonderful day!

Mark...
I if all the kids grew up like we did, there would not the kids shooting out of cars like they do today.
Also none of the other law breaking there is today.
Back in the day my parents raised me like they should.
I'll bet that if a serious law is broken it can be traced back to how they were raised.

Here in Virginia the DMV every so many years sends out a letter which asks you to renew your old driver's license and have a new picture taken.
This is because your picture is old and they want you to renew your license to put a fresh picture on it.
I went to my local DMV and after they took the picture I asked them to look up my drivers record. After doing so, the young lady looked it up her mouth fell open. I had gotten my License in 1955 and had no record of any violations on it. Call me a safe driver very lucky and careful. I am now 85 years old ,but about 5 years ago I started letting my wife drive all the time. I felt that she being 8 years younger that me it would be safer.

Of course they could be. That’s not even the top Sony. You would probably be just as blown away by a Nikon Z8 or Canon R5.

The new top Sony as you call it, won't do anything more than what I have already.
I have no use for Nikon or Canon cameras.
I also don't shoot movies.

I was in a Wawa, (for those who do not know what that is, it is one of the new class of gas stations with 12 to 24 pumps and a store of about 8000 sq. ft. that sells enormous amounts of coffee, sodas, beer, snack food, and a kitchen that makes everything from salads to burgers, to pizza) a group of 7 or 8 kids from around 9 to 12 came in and left in about three minutes. A customer pointed out to the cashier that they had grabbed stuff and just walked out with it. Yea, the cashier said, it happens every day. The mayor and police know about it and won't do a thing. Please note: I did not mention the kid's color, the party affiliation of authorities, or anything that would be considered political. It is just an observation. I'm thinking more of the moral conduct of our society and how it seems to be crumbling.

My dad when I was about 14 years old had a darkroom and I managed to save these.
I'm 85 now. I wonder if there is any value to them.
