When you do this in Windows, it sometimes leaves junk in the registry. Revo Uninstaller uses the Windows uninstaller first and then scans for left over files and registry entries and asks if you want to get rid of them.

That is why I use Revo. It has a paid and free version. Both have a registry cleaner. The paid version can be installed on a flash drive.

I have a Windows 10 PC with several programs that I no longer use or need. Does anyone know of a way to uninstall these programs cleanly, or is it a restore to factory situation to get rid of them? Thanks.
Bill

On several of my nikon lenses with the lens on the camera. On the right side, just down from the shutter there is a switch with a red dot. Make sure the switch is fully toward the front and the Aperture ring is turned all the way CW.
I've had that same issue if the switch or Aperture ring is just a little off.
Hope this helps

Please keep this thread going till we(you) have an answer one way or the other. Thanks

I have one sitting on the shelf behind me, a MVC-CD400. It was a great camera with a nice Carl Zeiss lens. I still use it on occasion just for the heck of it!

Mine is in a cardboard box. It has ONE original battery, the second battery will not take a charge. I tried to purchase replacement batteries but the camera will NOT recognize them. I tried to send them back but the seller just gave me my money back with No return required. They camera still takes pictures and I still have some disks.

Thanks to the three that responded. I will try the volume button. The Vid2pic looked good but did not act like the screen directions. It did not allow me to save as a format, did not allow me to "save" anything into the photo folder.
I will try the video to photo grab. One second video does not give you much to pick from. I do not save to HEIC just jpegs.

I got rid of my flip phone for a Iphone 12Pro. It will be a long learning curve. My big fingers do not fit those little qwerty keys so I have been using a pen with the rubber bumper on the end. The 12PRO camera is great but again my fingers and their touches have created MANY one or two second videos. Now how do I get those short vids into pictures. I have found Vid3Pic's but the software has NOT proven to get the job done. My screens of the process does NOT match those on the App store's explanations to save as a pic. I also do not see a screen that shows me how to save the pic as jpeg. I have gone into settings to save all my pics as jpegs but again I can NOT get the vidoes to a picture format. Can anyone help with this? NOT sure when my fingers will learn better. My "live" settings are turned off. Thanks for reading. Please give me your suggestions.

Does a p520 have an internal battery?? If you placed your charged battery into the camera it may charge the internal battery if left for several days.

Depending on your model of Iphone and the computer that you are using you may need an USB 3. male adapter to fit the USB-C connector that is on the phone charger cable. Not sure about Iphone 7,8,9 cables.

Would this call for a program like Recuva to find the files or recover the photos??

Just tried it and got to the web site on Mac Mini (Big Sur) using Firefox and iphone using Safari. Using a VPN on both. Connection speed was normal (very quick) and everything looked normal with no warnings of any kind.

Which VPN works well with Apple products??

As 2022 nears are the computers of next year going to be upgrade-able?? Manufacturers seem to be making the next generations fixed or only soldered in place components. I have upgraded my laptop to 1tb ssd and 32 gb of ram and I am glad that I did my improvements when I did.

I have the Epson V600 and use Vuescan. If you owned a copy, they send out updates every month or so. Contact them and see if you can get yours installed on your new hard drive. Good luck.

For welders to keep welding rods dry they used a campus fridge with a 15 watt light bulb working in it. For HHH's it could be as simple as an ice cooler with some silica packs to average out the temps and humidity. Coolers can go into the car for traveling. I live in Iowa and we swing from -30 to 100 degrees with HIGH humidity. Winter is not a problem but summer fogging can slow the picture taking.

I agree. I sold off my mirrorless Canon RP with four lenses and bought the Sony RX10-IV ($1700) because I need a telephoto for wildlife and candids where I can't get very close. With a 24-600 f2.4-4 lens it meets my needs completely. Then I added a refurbished Sony RX100-VA camera for pocket use ($700). Both weigh 3-pounds combined.
I pocketed enough by selling off the Canon gear to buy the two cameras and an Apple 12 Pro Max too. Everything is best-in-class until new models are released. The RX10-IV is the best camera I've ever used.
