I got rid of my flip phone for a Iphone 12Pro. It will be a long learning curve. My big fingers do not fit those little qwerty keys so I have been using a pen with the rubber bumper on the end. The 12PRO camera is great but again my fingers and their touches have created MANY one or two second videos. Now how do I get those short vids into pictures. I have found Vid3Pic's but the software has NOT proven to get the job done. My screens of the process does NOT match those on the App store's explanations to save as a pic. I also do not see a screen that shows me how to save the pic as jpeg. I have gone into settings to save all my pics as jpegs but again I can NOT get the vidoes to a picture format. Can anyone help with this? NOT sure when my fingers will learn better. My "live" settings are turned off. Thanks for reading. Please give me your suggestions.

Hi, Larry,
One thing you may not know is that you can use the volume up button as a shutter button. It works great in landscape orientation. It’s a bit of a stretch, but you can do it in portrait orientation as well.
As noted, need frame grabber software from what I know. Some cameras can capture photos while taking a video, but not the same as after video is done, maybe that is the point of confusion for you. The first, interrupts the video, takes a photo, then goes back to video. The latter converts existing video to still frames. At least, that is how I understand it.
Hopes this helps;
Good luck!
Thanks to the three that responded. I will try the volume button. The Vid2pic looked good but did not act like the screen directions. It did not allow me to save as a format, did not allow me to "save" anything into the photo folder.
I will try the video to photo grab. One second video does not give you much to pick from. I do not save to HEIC just jpegs.
