Try a circular polarizing filter
I believe one report said that they may have hit a power line.
There are filter tools to remove tight filters. Look on Amazon or B&H.
Beautiful images. Are these HDR?
You look great. I hope I look that good when I'm 89.
I have had the same experience. If it is the same one, they want you to call a number and they transfer you to tech support and there they ask to take over your computer so they can delete the virus. Then they can get all of your info.
Great shots. I will be going there in September. Can you tell me where you were when you shot these great photos? Thanks, Ralph
Hi Judy. Welcome. A trip to the Northeast is on my bucket list. Enjoy UHH. Ralph
It doesn't cost anything to be nice. I thought this was supposed to be a friendly forum to help each other with our photography and learn from others' experiences. My Mother always said, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
I have been in Auto mode for a long time. I recently purchased the latest edition (4th) of Bryan Peterson's "Understanding Exposure". After the first chapter I went to Manual Mode and won't go back to auto. Understanding is the operative word; understanding ISO, aperture, and shutter speed brings it all together. Now the more technical issues are easier to understand. I would recommend this book to anybody new to DSLR or those still in auto mode. Manual mode is so much more fun. The book is about $16.00 on Amazon. Easy to understand, with lots of photos with explanations.
I'm an Apple guy also. Since Apple won't support Aperture I purchased Affinity Photo for $50. If you were happy with Aperture, you'll like Affinity. There are many tutorials available for Affinity also. I think you can get a trial version before you decide to buy.
27" Mac, very pleased with mine for over 5 years.
Going to national parks in Utah and Arizona in October and would like to know what lens to take. I have a Canon camera and am considering a 24-105mm f/4L or an 18-135mm f3.5-5.6mm. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Ralph
