Hi there Bob,
I went to college in the area in the late 60’s and “discovered” Letchworth. I went back several years ago with camera in hand. Everyone is indeed correct...ample opportunities for great photo ops without a lot of walking around. There is one location close to parking area with a short series of steps which allows you to Look down the gorge and see two of the cascading falls; railroad bridge over the gorge should not be missed. Highly recommend a polarizer to enhance your captures. Fabulous falls right near the Inn. Have a great time.
Never do free...Zenfolio is a nice site to try. I have been using it for years.
You really should be using a dedicated photo printer
Try Perfect Exposure free plug in...see if you like it. I use the full program sparingly, relying on other programs do so the bulk of my post processing.
I have a D90 and a D7500...tried that lens on the D90...does not work. Make sure you get a lens with VR
I added to D7500 to my arsenal and am very pleased with the camera. Still use the D90 and a P510 as backups depending on what I am shooting.
Photoshop Elements 14 with On1 and Nik
I have been doing art shows for over 10 years. Inevitably someone will enter my booth display and made that stupid comment I could do that. Most times I just ignore them because they’re ignorant, other times I’ll make a simple statement like “Well, you should.” I then offer my business card and tell them to call me for information on how to get started. Funny, only one call in 10 years. Best of luck and congratulations on your showing.
Not as long as the sensor size is so miniscule.
I have the P510. Love it but the focusing is very slow. I use it as a back up to my D90 and D7500 when fast focusing is not an issue. Takes great photos and have enlarged up to 13x19 with no issues. Have fun with it! Camera offers a lot so get a manual or go online to learn about all the nuances this camera offers.
I have been selling my photos for over ten years. I only signed my framed pieces, but often customers requested I sign prints and the gallery wrapped canvas pieces. I finally had a professional signature created in black and white script, I. Two widths, which I can add to
as I wish.
I used a Canon Pro 9000 for many years, producing excellent photos up to 13 x 19 for sales at juried art shows. The Pro 100 is the follow up to this printer and by all accounts an excellent option!!! Whenever I ordered ink from Canon I always received free photo paper. By the way, I now print on an Epson Surecolor 600.
I used to do weddings...great money, hated doing weddings. Used to have full darkroom to process color and B&W. Switched to digital on 2009. Sell my works at juried arts and craft shows...getting rich, of course not, but doing something I enjoy.
Art is always in the eye of the beholder. Art is creative and allows a lot of leeway in getting to the final product. Some of my prints are closer to what I saw when I took the photo with only minor touches such as sharpening and contrast adjustments. Others are highly
Manipulated to create and artistic image closer to what I imagined I wanted the final product to be. Like some others I prefer the first edition and think the sky takes away from the osprey.
