I was just wondering how people use their camera with dual card slots. Now I understand for paid jobs you would use one for backup (option #2), but for just shooting around, e.g., vacation, parties, general shooting, etc. What configuration do you use:

1. Auto switch (when one card gets full switches to next card)
2. Record to multiple cards
3. Only record to the selected card

Yes, keep it on.

Thanks so much for the info. One last stupid question if I may. After I have gone into my Nikon D7200 body and done the adjusting for the other lenses, do I need to keep the AF fine tune selection "on" from then on or is that only for when one is actually doing the fine tune adjusting?

I use FoCal 2 software to micro adjust my lenses, and this software applies the adjustment to the camera body. I also have the Tamron Tap-In console, which allows you to apply the adjustments to directly to the lens. To do this with FoCal you would record the micro adjust value set in the camera and then clear that value out. Next, you would just enter that value into the console.

1. I found if you have multiple camera bodies then it's best to apply the adjustment to the camera body. If you have just one camera I would apply the adjustment to the lens.

2. Yes, I feel that all lenses should be micro adjusted. Yes, the dock is only for sigma lens.

You can revert back to the previous version Lightroom until DXO has a fix. Bring up Adobe Creative Cloud, select Lightroom Classic CC (click on down arrow, select "Other Verison". Since they will fix the problem for "PhotoLab, that means that those of us still using OpticsPro 11 will be forced to update. Dawn!!!!

Some years ago I had a control dial on a Canon DSLR get very hard to turn. I used a vacuum to clean around it and must have dislodged a grain of sand or something.... worked fine after that.

Thanks! I will give that a try.

Sorry, I can't help you out, I have a Canon 600 and a Yongnuo 600 so I just got them both out and checked the dials, the Canon one is definitely stiffer than the Yongnuo but both operate very well. I can only think dust or heavy humidity is causing it. I know your probably moving it back and forth to loosen it up and hopefully it will.

Good luck on getting to the bottom of this and please let us know.

I will and thanks!

I think one question should be is how to use the software? I have both the Tap-in and FoCal software. My problem is that FoCal (I think) will not generate/create data points shown in the Tap-in console software.

Hi, for some reason my select dial has become hard to rotate. Yes, it still works, but it's very hard to move. Now I have never dropped this flash so I don't know why it's doing this and how to fix it. I'm hoping I don't have to send it into canon for repair.

I wouldn't expect a response from Yongnuo. I do think I updated mine on Windows 10. It has been a while, but I've had W10 since before I got the YN-685N's and 622N-TX.

For W10/7, it is usually just getting the drivers to allow Windows to know what you plugged in. Often, W7 will work on W10. Sometimes W10 already has it. I think.

Thank You!

Hi, can these devices firmware be updated using a Windows 10 computer? I remember when I first got these units you could only use Windows 7 to update the firmware.

If you are only want to carry either an Ipad or Android device along with your camera take a look at this:

https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Wireless-Portable-Companion-Streamer/dp/B016ZWS9ZE/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8

Yes, you will still need a portable hard drive, but the RavPower will power the drive and download your pictures the drive.
