In this state, Washington, when a grocery kiosk sells food, or coffee, inside the store it is sales-taxable, IF there are chairs provided for the customer.

I live in a state (WA)with no state income tax but with a 9.6% sales tax. That is quite persuasive in deciding where to make a major purchase, which I used to do. Free shipping helps on physically large items such as a wide-format printer.

In bright sunlight, a snow scene's shadows show that they are being illuminated by a strong blue light source, the blue sky. At high altitudes, shadows on rocks such as in Yosemite, will show blue in color film or be very dark in B&W if using a red filter. A useful 'trick'.

Look through the filter and rotate it at your scene. If you see a difference, that should tell you whether or not you want to use it.

volume 4 Natural Light Photography Co1952 7th printing,1971
volume 5 Artificial Light Photography 1968 5th printing 1971

Each is a great treatise on the subject, even his discussion of the negative is a help to understanding light and shadows.

In about 1950,I watched the original "Fire Falls" from both the top, at Glacier Point, and at the bottow from Camp Curry. Wild days.

Before the current climate change, there were ice caves in the Paradise Glacier on Mount Rainier. There were several serious accidents in them from falling ice and collapsing 'roof' so beware of such when you find one.

That wasp appears to have only four legs! Is that a trick of the wasp or perspective? But, a good shot. Thank you.

Beautiful! I like the high-key treatment of #1. I do see a spot, or 'something' unidentifiable on left side of her neck. Once seen, hard to ignore. Not meant to be a criticism of either of you or daughter. Jim
