When using PP never ship until you check your account. If it's in there you are safe to ship. I have received some fake PP notices before but always check first

I liked the fact that MPB states the shutter count of all cameras for sale.

Not all, asked for the count on an OM DE MIX and they could not give it.

Hi Hoggers,

I wondered if anyone has had issues with buying from MPB.com? I ordered over $200 of accessories and am getting the runaround. I ordered, received confirmation, then started getting emails asking me to contact them about the order. I have called (their phone system is inoperable) and sent multiple emails with no response. I have not even been successful in cancelling the order due to the fact that they do not respond. Pretty frustrating and wondered if this is standard for this company? Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again.

I had a cheap 110 camera and I was at a biker event and some girls were dancing on the stage topless. I took some pics and they turned out terrible. I told myself never again so I went and bought a good camera. It was a Minolta 7.

Interesting.

If one buys something for $500 and sells it for $300 at a later point in time,
why is that $300 considered income. It's just a partial reimbursement for the outgo. You basically rented the item for $200.

Now if one sold that item for $700, I can see where they would want to come after you for a $200 profit (income).

From what I understand if you pay 500 for something and then sell it for 300 you won't be taxed because you lost money. But a pita with keeping invoices.

If I sell anything in the future it will not be with PP, check only. The extra paper work is not worth it to me. I need to report 1100 dollars but no need to pay taxes on it, not worth the extra trouble.

I have the R5 with the RF100-500mm because I love BIF. I also have RF24-240mm that I don't use much and an EF 100mm Macro with rf adaptor. Love macro photography!

Kind of thought I could use the G9 with the lenses I have to cover other genres. Leica12-60mm -Lumix25mm 1.7- Lumix42.5 1.7 and Lumix35-100mm f2.8II

I also purchased the sony because its a bridge camera! it's excellent. The R5 is my newest camera. bought in June of this yr. STILL getting use to the lg files. At first I thought that I would use it strictly for birding and would not need other lenses for it. So I am wondering if really need the G9 and her lenses or would I be better off with a few RF lenses. I bought the ef 100mm macro cause the Rf is very pricey. What are your thoughts!

So you have a female G9. I have one also, but how do I tell if it's male or female

The Post Office can help you, believe it or not, by shipping items where an accepting signature is required for delivery. You would want to insure the package for an amount of at least 20% above actual value to mitigate the P.O. from just delivering the pkg. to the front porch.

Above $500 insured the PO will require a signature

I have a quandary. I have a Sony A7R2 with the 24-70mm f4. Problem is that since Covid I am not able to afford much else in glass. I was thinking that if I sell these, I can buy an a6000, 16-70mm f4, the Sony 10-18mm, and the 55-110mm. I DO have the Laea4 adapter. Maybe some A mount glass for wide angle? But then I'm getting really big as far as weight. I just don't know if I'll be disappointed with IQ, dynamic range and overall picture quality going back to the a6000. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Samyang/Rokinon makes some very nice small primes if that is what you are looking for

I can't just have one. I have a FF system, APS C and a M4/3 system. When I had motorcycles for 49 years I had 2 and one time had 3. The only one thing I have is my wife, more than 1 would be to expensive
