I have a quandary. I have a Sony A7R2 with the 24-70mm f4. Problem is that since Covid I am not able to afford much else in glass. I was thinking that if I sell these, I can buy an a6000, 16-70mm f4, the Sony 10-18mm, and the 55-110mm. I DO have the Laea4 adapter. Maybe some A mount glass for wide angle? But then I'm getting really big as far as weight. I just don't know if I'll be disappointed with IQ, dynamic range and overall picture quality going back to the a6000. Thoughts? Suggestions?
All those alternatives hit me as off the wall. Detailing the reasons why would make a looooong post ... so no details.
If you’re absolutely sold on getting a fascinating optic, get an affordable fully manual ultra wide prime. They are excellent optically, but not automated. You can enjoy an ultra wide without AF. The DoF is tremendous.
If you might wanna explore low light scenes, the 28/2.0 native lens is on clearance for ~ $250.
