I wish they'd just pick one time or the other, and leave it that way all year. Our Lord made the day 24 hours long, and the politicians just can't seem to figure that out. This changing back and forth is ridiculous. (IMHO)

i feel the length of the day was long before 24 hours became the norm.... i agree "our lord" made the day but the "24 hour" part wasn't his idea.....JMHO !!!

hey HOT... my father had over 300 peach trees and was still considered "small" time around here. he would not thin quite as hard as i did and picked a little less ripe... people would drive past his and buy from me but with only 30 trees i could be more "personal" with each tree. it's awful hard to throw most on the ground, sometimes more than 80%, while thinning but more than worth it in the end.

nice pics... brings back memories... had 30 +- peach trees of my own... keep them pruned and thin peaches to be no closer than 6" to each other once they go through their own natural drop at roughly 1/2" size. you will have peaches the size of softballs....pick them once you feel just a little give when you squeeze them.... the sweet juice will run down your arm when you eat them in the orchard...don't forget it takes half as many 3" peaches to fill a basket as 2" ones.

This is not just the USMC, but all branches of the service. They military is kicking out of service, Generals, for sexual harassment, let alone sexual assault. And, you can be kicked out of the service, for having an affair with another service member's wife or husband. A woman Senator, who was a fighter pilot in the USAF, said she was sexually assaulted when she was a pilot. The USAF issued an apology today. Behave yourself, in and out of the military today, when it comes to sexual assaults and sexual harassment. Or? The male Officer, who assaulted the Senator from Arizona, must be very nervous right now. She didn't report the incident, figuring it would hurt her career.

back in the film days, probably mid 70's i was on an evening scenic boat ride. two women had a brand new ae-1 and not a clue. i asked them if i could take their picture and they jumped at the chance. took maybe half dozen pics and gave it back to them. asked if they read the manual, replied "no it's just a camera." i am pretty sure they were the only pics they got from that roll. nice camera but no clue.

looks inviting...cooked perfectly.. almost mooing. our old butcher would take a bite while cutting up our beef. if he kept tasting, you could be sure the whole beef was good. if he stopped tasting, might as well put the whole thing in ground beef.... and he was always right....
