Definitely, Cape May is the place to go. Ocean City is right down from Atlantic City and there are large numbers of people roaming about. Cape May is such a unique town with great Victorian architecture. West Cape May has a bird sanctuary that may what you are looking for.

We will be going out to Washington State in the middle of May and we were hoping some of the UHH members would have recommendations for things to do especially relating to photography. Right now I have a list that includes the Space Needle, Palouse Falls, Chihuly Gardens, Snoqualmie Falls and Deception Pass Bridge.

We will be there for at least a week.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Anne Frank Museum. We just got our tickets a couple of weeks ago. We will definitely put the dikes on our to do list.

Yep. Remember to make a reservation for the Anne Frank Museum. They are (still?) doing some renovation and when I was there a few months ago there was limited access and only by reservation. Also consider one of the day trips out to the dikes on the west coast - in the right weather it is a stunning scenery. Obviously, there is also the tulip fields if you are into miles of flowers

I would take the 18-270. I have taken a couple of lenses with me as well as the one on my camera. When you are walking around, it can be a pain to keep changing lenses especially if you are on a tour with other people. Also, I feel unsafe in foreign countries with changing lenses because it sets you up as a target (tourist). Some professionals would suggest more than one but they are looking to sell the photos while some of us are just trying to create a photo for ourselves.

The Riksmuseum is on many world Top Ten lists... if you are into museums. Kinderdijk for windmills. The dikes.

Most of the trip the cruise line will handle the excursions but we have 2 days on both sides of the trip where we are on our own.

Sorry for the misspelling but I could use the help with ideas other than word corrections :)

In a couple of weeks we will be taking a river cruise from Basil Switzerland to Amsterdam. We have a couple days in both Basil and Amsterdam on our own. Any recommendations of what to do and photograph while we are in these cities? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have had the same Canon printer for a couple of years and I have only used Canon cartridges. I have tried off brand and recycled cartridges on other printers and have found them to be inadequate.

I should have mentioned that I use TTL for the flash.

I am having difficulties shooting indoor events when using a flash. I believe the problem is the camera settings that I'm using. I know each situation is different but I wanted to get some ideas about common camera settings with flash - ISO, SS, Aperture, manual or AP/SS priority.

I was there in May and could take photos anywhere in the Chapel. I believe in 2018, there is going to be major improvements to the Chapel especially the outside. I have attached a link to my webpage with photos from the Chapel.
