I've never had this problem. I use a Watson charger and it works fine. And I use only OEM batteries

That's basically true. Except if you notice there are some that are still standing up (even if they are sleeping). They can 'lock their knees so they don't fall down while asleep and can also act as watchers for the rest of the herd. Also, they don't sleep for very long periods at a time.
