Stunning Ed , you don't have to tell me about the low budget gear. My mount was dirt cheap, it needed a tune-up and re-grease and results are paying off but, a good heavy duty mount would be the icing on the cake.
Yes it is but, I've got my mount setup in the cave with wire and cables everywhere attempting to get my driver loaded on my computer and test the motofocuser. I downloaded the driver and I don't know if I just open Sgp and connect it or if I try to manually attempt it with the hand control. I've got a lot to do to find a good place on the mount to put everything . I can tell you that the red light lit up after I tried to connect with Sgp. I said , I better wait until I talk with you before I go any further .
I'm sure glad you got out that is awesome Ed , I'm getting clouds and rain and it's making my condition worse. I wish I could finish up on Andromeda , all I need is to shoot the green channel again before moving on .

Northcoast 42 thank you , I'm just up the road a bit in N. Carolina and the weather went straight into Winter temperatures. All I need now is for this rain and clouds from the gulf hurricane to leave and it'll be on like a "pot of neckbones." It's muggy and buggy in the Summer in the Carolinas , it's got some nice skies where I live " Orange zone ".
I think Winter is already hear after Michael , from Summer to Winter . I can accept that woohoo.

Thanks Craig , I love it when everything comes together and goes well. I was surprised that the 5x took , the heat and humidity was just a lil' lower , so I took the leap and away I went . No more can I shooty Mars this year , behind the trees.
I didn't mean to confuse you Brian , I also ran on m31 that night and that's what I was talking about. I'm going to do a mosaic of Andromeda and the 2 dwarf galaxies m32 and m110 , I think that would look awesome.
Brian ,have you tried to re-align the color planes? The lum is on the money and the stars are nice and tight . Don't kick yourself too hard it's all a learning experience . LP that's a cursed word !
Thank you Brian , I have my settings so I don't have to waste any time taking a zillion subs just to get it right . Now , I only have to tweak it "Cruzin" through the Cosmos. My guiding has improved considerably , it's still not great but, it does allow longer subs with only 13 in the blue channel , 3 in Red and 5 Green frame dumps out of a 145 total. That was some good nights with the moon out.
