Hi,

Hi Kerry. Thanks for responding. Answers in-line below.

B&H 11-23-01. I am the original owner.

> Lens (tripod) collar, ...appears original? yes/no

Collar is original.

Are you including "any extras" in your propose sale of your Nikkor for $500, such as lens filters, lens support, tele converter, "soft" carrying case, etc?

> Includes the original hard case and the lens hood which, oddly, was sold separately.

> Any disclosure issues, ...fungus, "broken and/or plastic crack" parts, etc?

At times I thought I have seen a tiny speck of something white behind the front lens element. This is full disclosure because I don't see it right now. I've never seen any evidence of it in an image.

> Any recent servicing of the lens, ...purpose, when and by whom?

None.

> At this time, are you open to any counter offers?

I am always listening. :)

> Payment method, don't have a paypal account and ...would you accept a personal check, and forward your Nikkor after my personal check clears?

I'm fine with a check. I find PayPal to be a PITA.

What issue are you addressing by using an HDR on a sunset? I can’t envision any utility in doing that.

Often the foreground of a sunset is an important element of the composition. There would be an advantage to capturing the foreground at the desired exposure and then grabbing the actual sunset in a separate frame for merging later.

Sorry, just putting the information out there. Images are being attached to the original post. I hope :)

There is no camera body, just the lenses and accessories listed. The lenses are in plastic cases and have been well protected. Everything could use a good cleaning.

This drive works great but I don't use it anymore.

Works on my Nikon FM2 and other F series film bodies.

$35 plus shipping.

Probably my most favorite camera ever. Did not have it for long before the digital revolution started so it has low miles (no shutter count, about 100 rolls).

I just don't reach for it any more. I'll throw in a few rolls of film from the freezer.

Packed in the original box with manual.

(Sorry about the focus on the product shots.)

This stuff needs to go. Any reasonable offer. Needs to be sold as a lot. What I want is for this gear to be used by someone. Ball park value is probably around $50.

Lens: 35mm f/5.6

Lens: 50mm f/2

Lens: 80mm f.4

Lens: Close up attachment lens 6a. Does not seem to fit the 35 or 50 but I may have forgotten something.

This lens uses a rotatable collar to zoom (not push-pull). It is a screw-drive model - Auto Focuses on Nikon bodies having a focus motor. Examples: D2, D2, D3 etc, D100, D200, D300, D500, D700, etc.

On DX bodies it is equivalent to 120-300mm.

Includes the Nikon hard case and the extra cost lens hood.

$500

I shoot mostly RAW and bounce back and forth between aperture and shutter priority, depending on the subject and circumstances. My question: Which do you prefer, aperture or shutter priority, for bracketing if you are shooting for HDR processing? Aperture, of course, means that your shutter speeds will vary, while shutter means that your aperture will change with each shot. My gut tells me to shoot shutter priority and let the aperture change.

Your opinion?

M for Manual! Keep the Aperture constant and shoot several shutter speeds. Try different combinations in Post Processing. You don't want the DOF to vary from shot to shot.

The Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 and 80-400 f/4.5-5.6 are working very well on the Z7/FTZ. The Nikkor 70-200 f/4 is another known-good combination.

The "old" model AF-S Nikkor 70-200 2.8GII ED may be available used within your price range. Very nice lens. Ditto the f/4 version.

Planning a trip to Alaska next summer. Doing all the usual spots, Denali, Anchorage, kodiak island, and more. She is debating between two Canon Cameras that she likes. She has a very good eye and used to take outstanding photos with film cameras but wants to try digital. Looking for size and portability and ease of use. Would appreciate any comments and observations..

She is looking at the Canon Powershot G7 X Mark ll or the less expensive Canon Powershot SX740 HS. Comments suggestions appreciated.

Do get something with a viewfinder. My wife didn't last long with her new camera that was without one.

PayBoo makes plenty of business sense. It costs B&H when you use a VISA/MC. They save that cost and discount the goods just a little and it adds up to enough so that B&H can cover the tax. You get the goods. B&H gets the sale. The state gets the sales tax. What's not to like?
