This lens uses a rotatable collar to zoom (not push-pull). It is a screw-drive model - Auto Focuses on Nikon bodies having a focus motor. Examples: D2, D2, D3 etc, D100, D200, D300, D500, D700, etc.
On DX bodies it is equivalent to 120-300mm.
Includes the Nikon hard case and the extra cost lens hood.

I have an AF 80-200mm f/2.8D, and your copy looks perfect.
Due diligence, ...a few questions before making another (GAS) decision.
Can we have the serial number of your Nikkor lens?
When and where did you purchase this lens? And, were you the original (1st) purchaser?
Lens (tripod) collar, ...appears original? yes/no
Are you including "any extras" in your propose sale of your Nikkor for $500, such as lens filters, lens support, tele converter, "soft" carrying case, etc?
Any disclosure issues, ...fungus, "broken and/or plastic crack" parts, etc?
Any recent servicing of the lens, ...purpose, when and by whom?
At this time, are you open to any counter offers?
Payment method, don't have a paypal account and ...would you accept a personal check, and forward your Nikkor after my personal check clears?
...considering an upgrade to my AF 80-200mm f2.8 Nikkor, ...newer and a better copy.
