The white pelicans are especially awesome. I wasn't aware of this place. Maybe next time we go over, we'll go there!
Those are some balled up birdies, for sure!
#3 really shows it, to me.
Morikami is supposed to be nice. I also hear the Palm Beach zoo is quite good. Check the weather/tides to see if a drive up to Jupiter's Blowing Rocks would be worth it.
Just a couple of ideas.
What are you looking for?
I went several years ago. Didn't come close to getting the shots you did. Nice!
Pretty cool. Could be a little sharper, but I know how difficult that is. I recently played with that type of photography, too. It's kinda fun, but you have to (at least I did) shoot SO many shots just to get one or two that might pass muster.
Have you tried a crown splash? This is the closest I've gotten so far. Definitely could be much sharper, but I got the "moment".
I'm going to be working on perfecting this, myself.
Well, just for sh**s and giggles, I thought I would share this one as well - from an eclipse several several years ago. Still never got the blood moon.
These are all really nice.
Even though I posted this on another thread, I'll play it here, too! Also, last night's Super Wolf moon.
The second one is from Sanibel Island, Florida.
The third is just an early morning on the pond in our neighborhood.
Well, thanks to everyone for the great comments. I see there are some other threads open about it - I'm going to go look!
OK - I'll be the first (I think). I know I won't be the best. I only have the rising Super Wolf Moon - can't wait to see what everyone gets!
I accidentally have 2 cameras. A Nikon D200 and a Nikon D7000. It has been more than convenient because I pretty much shoot 2 very different types of images and to be able to have each camera set and ready to go for the need has made my life much easier! I find that the D7000 overexposes a little and I have trouble controlling that outside. So, I use that for studio/stock work and I use the old workhorse for the horse shows and outdoors in general.
Where is this pond? Looks like all my back yard critters, too.
