Escape from the Cabin - Winter Birding Fun!

Here in Holland, MI the temps shot up to 11° F yesterday and the sun was out. Time to escape the cabin and do some birding from the comfort of our car (yes we got out once or twice but for short periods of time). Here are some of the birds that survive the winters here.

I always found that the birdfeeder was the happiest place around in the midst of the bitter cold winter! That these poor birds manage to survive the winter is amazing. Nice set!
