I am generally not a fan, never had a desire for one even while I was in the Navy. However, in my nursing career I did find tatoos useful in helping to calm a patient prior to a procedure as they could lead to a brief conversation about their meaning and how they came about. My favorite story was from an older gent who came in with Air
force wings tatooed above his left chest, it was a very recent peice of artwork so I asked about it. He replied that he was at a reunion of his squadron mates in LasVegas and all of the old warriors had a great time and all went out and got their wings placed permanently on their chests. They will always fly together.
A little JB weld and it will be as good as new!
I am a retired RN and at one time I worked in a childrens hospital. Sometimes after working a night shift I would stop at my parents home to check up on them and to get a mom cooked breakfast. One morning while I was eating my omelet, my mom asked about my night at work, I explained to her how I spent the night in isolation with a child who was very sick with chicken pox encephalitis. To my amazement my mom stated that I was tho only one of my brothers and sisters who never got chicken pox growing up. I was amazed and also concerned so I was tested and found out that somewhere along the way I must have had a subclinical case of chicken pox.
I learned so much from my mom whild sitting around the kitchen table...miss those conversations.
Beautiful woman, well done, the eyes just reel me in!
Nicely done, and please show more of her in the future.
