I print about 10 % for my
grandchildren’s albums. Been doing so for 15 years with Epson photo printers. I’m on my second one now.

I used to use Datacolor, 5 but the latest version completely failed me. I have a new Mac with Catalina Operating system..Datacolor crashed my computer. colors. I deleted the program and don't use anything now. I use ICC profiles for any paper I print on. This is what I duo now and it works:

After editing my images in PS 2020, I add a layer, Change the layer mode to Screen, change the opacity to 20 % and print. If the image does not match my screen, I change the opacity and try again. Scott Kelby and other professional photographers recommend this method.Calibrating you monitor without calibrating you priter is a waste of time and money. I found that out after maby years of using data color products.

Rent a full frame body and lens. The lens should be same as the lens you own,Then go out and shoot the same subject With both setups On A Tripod . Do not move the Tripod between Shots.

If you set your iso and aperture is that a preset? You better believe it is.

Is it a full frame version with af. If so I would pay $ 300 for it.

Dropped my D750 with a Tamron 70-200 F2.8 $$$ on a basketball court more than once. No damage to either.

LENS HOODS are the best protection.

A second body is my choice. Why risk damaging the 7100 while changing lenses.

I have seen a refurbished one for sale already. Could be a red flag.
I have a 750 and would only consider an 850 next.
