I don't have a Tap-in console for this lens and my local camera store (where I bought it) doesn't either. I think that there's a firmware update for it; although I'm uncertain after visiting the Tamron website. I also can't find where a Tamron service center may be, with contact info and shipping info-if I have to send it to them. I'm in NE Ohio.

Sirui L-10 monopod head. B&H Photo $100 +/- a few $. Well-designed and functions well.

I went Christmas, birthday, anniversary, and just because online shopping at B&H Photo last month. I'm now awaiting my account statement with that upcoming type of Gas Attack.
Now I need to take New and old equipment/toys out to play with Mother Nature.
Why not enjoy it?

Nikon has a 10-20 mm wide-angle for around $300. I've heard good things about it and I've had good luck with it.

Not certain how these lenses will operate on a D800.

I've got the Nikon 10-20mm that I've used on my D7200. It works well for me.

Thanks B&H for your service during the COV 19 situation. I've placed two orders so far this month (May). One for one small item, arrived in 3-5 days-to Akron, OH.
