Great shot Shutterbug, I love the L-39. I wish I could afford one.
Dear Carol, Really nice photos of an older time. I love the waterfowl paintings in the Living Room.
I was an Electronics Technician aboard the submarine USS Sea Cat (SS399) stationed in Key West, Florida from 1959-1963.
Thanks for a good morning laugh. Perfect with Veteran's Day coming.
Nice pictures, but that is a leopard.
Absolutely a scam. Almost word for word for one tried against my wife.
Jimson Weed is known throughout the Southwest as "Loco Weed". Cattle and horses that eat it will actually go crazy. It is considered dangerous to animals.
Now I know where old cars go to die. Love the MAC delivery. That would really be nice restored.
It looks to me that the big cucumbers will make excellent dill pickles and the smaller ones some sweet pickles. I'm not so sure about the squash.
Hi Vicki, Through the window or not, those are nice photos. We don't have these birds where I live. They are really beautiful. The really pointed beak is interesting. It must be how they first decided they could feed at a Hummingbird feeder.
Hi FvS, I have to ask. What lens did you use for that shot? Very nice.
Kpmac--That is a wonderful photo. It's just beautiful to look at. The colors are amazing.
Hi Dragonswing, He was almost posing, but really with eight of us watching him, he was considering climbing the tree to get away from our unwanted attention. He actually went part way up the tree then changed his mind and came back down.
I was lucky enough to tour Kinderdijk while on a River Cruise. It was a truly fascinating area and a photographer's dream. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the nice remarks. I'm certain that this is one of two cubs that my neighbor had taken Cell phone video of with the mother bear when they were very small. One of the cubs was halfway up a tree and the mother seemed to be encouraging him on how to do it. I know these bears live around us and we are usually very careful with our trash barrels.
