I’ve had an internal zoom installed on mine: 14-150, works out the best for my Olympus sized one.

On top of all the places and things everyone else has suggested, the "must see." Place in Portland is the Japanese Gardens, probably the best Japanesr garden in the US.

I'm surprised you guys haven't already seen the Olymphone EphiiiMk11. It's a mirrorkess phone using the new 8/6 format. I've been using it for several months now and am so pleased with it I'm selling all my old stuff 😜

I live in North Idsho. The smoke is ever present, due to fires throughout Northern CA, Oregon, WA, Canada, and Montana, which is experiencing its worst fire year since 1910. The air quality is extremely bad, both from a health standpoint and visually. Some days are better than others,as the winds change. But, in general, until we get rain, visibility is terrible. However, the landscape hasn't disappeared, it just looks different, providing different than usual photo opportunities. Sort of like "the Great Smokies of the West!"

My wife and I both are Olympus fans and have been using them for decades. My OMD 5ii and her PEN F are extraordinary cameras and their weight, size, lens selections, and micro 4/3 format work together to provide exceptional results. They are simply a delight to handle. Like you, I am surprised that there are not more Olympus discussions on this forum, even though mirrorless cameras seem to be the wave of the future. Enjoy your Olympus; in many ways it is superior to Nikon (which makes great rifle 'scopes) and Canon (whose printers are superior). 😉😉

Earlier this year, Anthony Morganti did a dozen or so videos in which he post processed images sent in by others. In several he used a Lightroom plug/in (for LR6 and CC) that showed where the cameras were focusing. Go to anthonymorganti.com or YouTube and review those videos. He tells you what it is and where to get it.

Seems to me that a combination name already exists--"Nikon!"

You can add an app to your smart phone, like GPS Tracks, or Geotag Photos, and while photographing, start the app. Afterwards, export the GPX file that the app creates to Lightroom. In Maps in Lightroom, upload the GPX file, and the when you import the images you took while running the app, they will be automatically geotagged, added to Maps, and saved with the metadata of that image.

Google Laura Shoe. Buy her Lightroom 6 DVD lessons (costs $45)--wonderful tutorials. She covers this topic in one of the lessons in detail, in 20 minutes. It'll be the best $45 you'll have ever spent. No more frustrations!

See http://www.anthonymorganti.com And find him on YouTube. He has an incredible teaching series on Lightroom 6 and CC, that takes you from the very basics into the very complex aspects of Lightroom. THe first 13 or so of his teaching series are videos that are 30 minutes and longer, and beyond that are about 60 more shorter "tips." You can subscribe to get tips sent directly to your email--pretty much weekly. THe best part is that all of this incredible training is FREE! Check him out. Anthony Morganti--a tremendous resource.

The most beautiful part of Idaho is North Idaho-- the Coeur d'Alene area-- with its huge lakes, mountains and national Forests. Don't miss it

Mine is the Olympus Zuiko 14-54mm 1:2.8-3.5II on my Olympus E-620. It's a bright, great all-round wide angle and short telephoto ideal basic lens. I don't read much about Olympus on this forum; I wonder why.
