Pretty glad that I could not afford college back in the day. They wanted me to take out loans and I balked. Went to work instead, tell my kids I went to the school of hard knocks. Worked a couple differnt major jobs, and a boat load of side stuff. I know much more than I would have learned at that college. I eventually did end up as an auto tech, the career I wanted, and managed to get to the Master Tech level of ASE certification, one of 1500 in the nation at the time that reached that level in Advanced Engine Performance. College isn't everything. The job I have now I got by asking the person who interviewed me if he would prefer someone with 15 years experience doing the job or someone with zero experience BUT a nice framed degree to hang on the wall. They gave the top two a trial (I was one) and I blew the guy with the degree out of the water.

I have been accused as being antisocial as I get older. This whole thing is perfect. I don't have to go anywhere near people! Perfect! Woks for me!

This is not a joke. The posts here demonstrate EXACTLY what is wrong with our county. We are supposed to be the UNITED STATES, IDIVISABLE. But instead we are the divided fools, letting big money and corporations run our government. No I'm not a democrat, or a republican or independent. I have been registered as no party affiliation for over 50 years. The problem with our politics is it's all about my side or your side. We the people can solve this, but everyone has to work together first. If you are a party politician I suggest you sit back and stop wrecking our country.

Check out ASUS. There Zenbook 14 is available with a 256 gb ssd and a 1 tb hard drive. It is super thin and light, well reviewed, has an i7 and 16 gb. It also has been designed to be a 14" screen in the form and size of a typical 13". They usually have them at best buy for around $1200, slightly less from asus directly.

Your best bet is to check with your local and state department of health. The feds are way behind on this and playing catch up. Living in NY there are a lot of things I do not like about our govenor but on this front he is being super proactive and doing what needs to be done and damn the feds. This list has been seen on other platforms as well. Check with experts on this especially since many of us fall into the highest risk group.

Asus zenpad. I use mine daily. On it now. Very fast and problem free. I bought this one as open box on ebay for couple hundred bucks. Once you try one you may decide against giving it up. I used to do my browsing on my laptop, not anymore. Much easier with a tablet.

Simple solution! Everyone set their clocks back 30 minutes next November... and be done with it. Then the lovers of DST and the haters can all be satisfied and we can be done with the nonsense of moving time. Time is only a percieved thing anyway.

This is a great example of why to shoot in RAW and process, and I do it when I need to. Thing is, me Olympus EM 1 mkII has an HDR mode and can take 5 frames then combine them in camera producing what is very near what it would take time in post to produce. And in a matter of seconds. It also stores all 5 RAW frames at different exposures (I can choose the size of the steps) plus the final jpeg. Just wondering if the Canon/Nikon high end bodies have something similar?

The Canon 80D is a great camera. Don't listen to the full frame fan boys. I used the older 60D to photograph all 5 of my kids sports, concerts, family get togethers, wildlife and even a wedding. You will not be lacking with that body. The lenses you have are a great starting point and may be all you'll ever need. If you are going to be shooting concerts and shows where you may not be able to use a flash you will want to consider a 70-200 f2.8 lens. One with image stabilization would be best. When I had my canon gear I had all Sigma EX level glass. Nearly as good as Canon at half the price. I shoot Olympus now, an experiment with mirrorless, but have been seriously debating going back to a Canon kit. Enjoy your camera, you tube is your friend and any books on exposure are helpful. Everyone on here will have an opinion. Take them all with a grain of salt, especially the ones that tell you that unless you have full frame you cannot take a good photograph. Eventually you will need to think about post processing software. Start with Canon's DPP, you can download it from Canons website for free and it's easy to use.

Still struggling with why anyone would use an OS that puts changes into a computer THAT YOU OWN without your permission. Let alone changing settings that make it easier for the OS to do it next time. As my kids would say WTF? That sounds like the exact description of malware to me.

Can't you just drop it and go with the joke, smile a little. If not how about just ignori g it i stead of attacking the OP. You know, nothing good to say, say nothing?

10 for 10. I have been a four color printer most of my working career. This is one of the reasons I do well at that job, I can see more shades of color than most people. It allows me to print superior results by eye, a skill that is no longer really needed as printing has become automated. Good thing I'll be retiring soon!
