While not a work of art, I have developed a relationship with a local weekly paper. The owner and I are long time friends and he has used my photographs and written stories in the past.
I am trying to develop a working relationship with the paper. I like very much his style of publishing. He looks for local things that are history related. I did a story with him a few years ago about the US Mail Boat that services the islands around our large lake Winnipesaukee.

This was my first time covering the Ice Harvest, something I have been putting off. I decided to do it this year. I have other projects in mind and will be working with the paper to develop good stories of interest.

Enjoy the article. It is interesting...

BTW I got to shoot this with my new/used Nikon D850... I added the originals for you to enjoy...

I have a Nikkor Auto focus with vibration reduction for sale.

This is a DX model and I had used it on my D300. It is very clean no scratches. Come with a Nikon L37c filter to protect the glass.

Comes in the original box with lens cover.

Sorry about the dust. Its a killer this time of the year...

Looking for $129 reduced $99. you pay shipping.

Thank you for looking.

I have a D810 for sale. This has been my back up camera and has very low shutter count (4758).

The reason for the sale is that I have purchased a D850 from one of our members and will now use my primary D810 as the new backup it has many more shutter counts.

This package comes with the body, two batteries, a Nikon charger, a 8Gb CF Card, 64GB SD card, and new 32 GB SD Card and a SD adaptor for a mirco card. Also comes with a Nikon carry strap.

I do not have the original box or manual. The camera did not come with a manual but I can provide a manual on a USB flash drive.
It is a US model and I have not had any issues with it. Just don't need three FX DSLR cameras.
I have updated the firmware of this camera as well.

Updated the photos. Cleaned and dusted the body removed black ink from name plate.
More photos upon request. This is truly a beautiful D810 with very little use as it was a back up and because my primary D810 never failed I never had to use it.

If you are interested in this please PM me.

Asking 999.00 For the package. I will pay for shipping in the lower 48 states.

Thank you for looking

Bob

Thank you for the comments. We were on the Princess Line back in August. Apparently, we experienced the same weather. Nevertheless, it was a trip of a lifetime for my wife and I. We traveled with our son and daughter-in -law and her parents. A wonderful experience for all of us. That is now off the bucket list. We would love to see your photos as well.

A few of you asked for additional photos taken on my trip. We are limited to 10 photos pre post so I am going to just send these 10 from the National Park. The first two photos were taken with my Samsung S22+ Ultra, not bad for a phone...We did not have terrific weather but the images are still very nice. All photos have been post-processed in Lightroom. The photo with the boat is the National Geographic ship. This place is one of America's treasures...Look at the download...
Please enjoy.

One of my shots from this amazing trip. While most of our trip was clouded by fog and rain, it made for interesting images. I thought I would share this one with you...

Sorry I have not been too active lately, been up to my eyeballs with life's little distractions...

A terabyte? Granted, larger format cameras screw with these calculations, but round numbers work as follows:

24MP camera gives roughly 1000 RAW images onto every 32GB card (SD/CF/etc)

1TB is 1,000GB or about 30x32GB cards or about 30,000 RAW files.

Is that an accurate estimate of the duration and shooting needs during the trip?

Thank you for your response...

Probably not, however it would remain in my camera bag and be used over and over. I seems to me that currently memory is getting larger. Plus I may include some video with the downloads...

I am going on a trip to Alaska and I would like to purchase a SD back up reader. It would need to be self powered and hold at lease 1TB of RAW data... any suggestions...

Thank you
