It didn't come with a plate, just with what you see in the picture. It takes a standard arca swiss type plate, my long lens has one built into the foot.

Just got back from 3 days in Big Bend with the OM-1. The hi-res feature is great, and much faster than hi-res processing on my EM-1 III. But, the one feature that really surprised me was night view. When you turn this feature on, the resolution drops, but you can see to frame in very dark conditions.

A few months back it was an attempt to buy new equipment, this last transaction was an attempt to trade in equipment. I suspect that they are having the same problem as everyone else, limited manpower trying to keep up with returning customers.

Adorama used to be good, but the past two experiences I've had with them have made me cautious about them. The last time I sent equipment in, it was over three weeks after they received it before I got a response, and them I had to call 4 times to get it. When I declined their offer, they said they would send me a tracking number for the return shipment. That was two weeks ago and I haven't been able to contact the trades department by phone or email. They are either real busy or shorthanded.

Interesting discussion! I agree with Longshadow in that I seem to notice the bird more, and did not even consider water direction. With that in mind I find the first image more pleasing. Thank you for bringing up an interesting subject!
