Re-Processing data from my Cassiopeia folder I wanted to create an image with a Halloween theme.
Here we have IC63 aka The Ghost of Cassiopeia utilizing Starnett++ to remove the stars, various colour filters & luminance masking

Really nice shot and processing. Sometimes I get a few artifacts when removing stars with Starnett, but I didn't see any artifacts in your image. What settings did you use on Starnett.

I have the same 'problem'. I've never had StarNet++ remove stars without a lot of shadows left behind.

Thanks mate.
Yes starnet++ like most star extraction apps does leave artifacts. I painfully spot healed them out in photoshop

And it looks like the healing work was worth it!

One more StarNet question. Did you use the standalone or the PixInsight plug-in? I can't get it to run in PixInsight. I get a JavaScript error.
