I'm another who dumped Norton several years ago. As a Mac user, and on the advice of a local computer store, I purchased/installed ESET Cybersecurity and have not had any issues since then.

Thanks for the links. The very first album I bought as a teenager was Duke Ellington's "Ellington Uptown." I still enjoy listening to it, sixty-plus years later.

Beautiful car. I had a '58 Impala hardtop with factory air, 348, Turboglide, etc., and was a very popular guy on late-spring fraternity road trips. Even New Hampshire could get warm & muggy at that time of the year! Thanks for sharing your pictures.

I was almost 11 years old when I traveled with my parents to New York City. The SS United States' maiden voyage was July 4, 1952, and we were there to see her off. First time I'd ever heard a ship's horn; loud doesn't even describe it! She was beautiful then; pity it's not much more than scrap metal now...

Sorry to hear you are having that problem. I updated my 2015 21" iMac to High Sierra about a week ago, but have had no issues with Photos or any other applications. I'm pretty sure Apple had you run Disk Utility, but it not, give that a try. Good luck.

The Japanese Tea Garden (aka the Sunken Gardens) became the Chinese Tea Garden very soon after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and remained that until about 1984-5, when it went back to the original name. It's a lovely place; my1964 Trinity University graduation ceremony was held there.

Great pictures of two very pretty young ladies!

As a kid, I spent many wonderful summers at various places along the Guadalupe River, primarily around Hunt. Camp LaJunta, Y Camp, etc. During WWII, at Camp Arrowhead's family camp(s). Thanks for a link to the memories!

Sad to say I no longer own this '66 Dodge Dart GT convertible, the inspiration for my avatar. Seller's remorse, even after ten years.

Recently visited a modern sugar plantation in Louisiana. The growing/processing season was over and the raw sugar stored in immense warehouse(s). This pile goes back into the warehouse about 500 feet. Already auctioned off, it is gradually shipped out during the year. By next fall, it will all be gone and the process begins anew. This photo was taken with an iPhone, so the quality is not so good. Thanks for looking.

Funny thing is, years ago outside LaGrange, TX, and known to many a Texas Aggie, was "The Chicken Ranch," later immortalized in "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," both a broadway play and movie.

When I open a folder, I like to get the List view, but it often shows me Large Icons. Yes, I know I can click on View > List, but why does the computer randomly show me the Large Icons view, and is there a way to prevent that from happening? This happens with any Windows computer I use.

Jerry, try the instructions here: http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/change-icon-size-windows-10
