A woman walks into an accountant's office and tells him that she needs to file her taxes.
The accountant says, "before we begin, I'll need to ask you a few questions."
"He gets her name, address, Social security number, etc. and then asks, "what's your occupation?"
"I'm a Lady of the night," she says.
The accountant is somewhat taken aback and says, "let's try to rephrase that."
"The woman says, "ok, I'm a high-end call girl."
"No, that still won't work. Try again."
"They both think for a minute; then the woman says, "I'm an elite chicken farmer."
The accountant asks, "what does chicken farming have to do with being a prostitute?"
"Well, I raised a thousand little peckers last year."
The accountant says, "Chicken Farmer it is."

I dont believe we all should worry about our taxes. Our POTUS has not paid any taxes for 20 years. And the option he
took to write off $900M dollars is very shady and probably wouldn't hold up for the average tax payer. I am not trying to be a wise guy
But how do we listen and have someone who does not feel paying some shared responsibility into the country collection pot.
This is not political but a matter of character.

A smart businessperson knows how to avoid taxes. As long as you can find a legal loophole go ahead and use it. LEGAL being the key word.

If you owned a business, as I have in the past, you must be pretty damned stupid not to take advantage of every tax provision and loop holes that you can. He has smart accountants and tax lawyers and if you can't comprehend and accept that you must fall into the stupid category. Incidentally, your political remarks belong in the Attic not in this section!

Isn't it strange when people with no knowledge of running a business will spout off about tax laws and how they affect small businesses. It's typical for liberals to make commentary on subjects they know nothing about. They think they are sounding intelligent but the results are just the opposite. They come across as total dumb asses.

This funny joke has deteriorated into one more bashing/name calling opportunity. Sorry to see this. I have lots of considerations about Pounder's last comment. It's a glittering, ignorant generality!! I'm sorry to see you support it, Brian.

I agree that this thread, like so many, has deteriorated. But I'd be interested in knowing where you find fault with my comments in the post that you refer to.
