I also have Gmail and use Picasa. I have found that Gmail is restricted as to how much you can attached to an email, so I use Outlook, the Microsoft version of email. Good luck.

I am seriously contemplating getting rid of a few DSLR's and lenses and going for the Sony RX10 IV. I have been reading some great reviews on it however will not make the decision untill I get to Robert's Camera in Indy and spend some time hands on with it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. At 80 yrs old I feel now might be the time.

I'm 75. I did exactly what you want to do. I sold all my Canon gear and took the proceeds and bought an RX10 Model IV. Best decision I could have made. Never regretted it. I shoot mostly local theater in very low light and have excellent results. I have to admit I wanted some more reach so I also bought a Nikon P1000. I am very pleased with my equipment. Good luck, you won't regret it!

For Sale: Ape Norazza Large Camera Case. Purchased 3 years ago. Never been outside, used only for storage. Selling because I am downsizing. Check out Amazon for details. This is the large size, currently selling for $99. Take advantage of my downsizing, I am asking $50.00. Buyer pays shipping. I prefer Pay Pal.

Is Roberts Camera a reputable company to sell used camera equipment. Has anyone used them? Did they pretty much give you the amount they quoted? Or reduce it ? Or??
Who is better? B&H, MPB, KEH or who?
Thanks for the help

I have both purchased used equipment from them and sold equipment to them. I found them honest and quick. I would highly recommend them.

I used Microsoft Picture It software for years but does not work with Windows Ten. It was simple an easy. Did not do a lot of major editing . I would put photo captures on wood, tile ,& glass. Certain sizes not in proportion would be needed to achieve this like 4x5, & so on. I am looking for a simple program so if odd size would be needed it would be available even not in proportion for a photo. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks & Happy Holidays & stay safe.

Don't laugh, but I still use Google Picasa 3. If you google it, you can download it. Google won't send you any updates, but I haven't need any in years. Works for me. Good luck.

I've been using one of these for about 10 years. I'm now up to 4 of them for various cameras and equipment. They are durable, washable, inexpensive, and don't shout 'expensive camera inside'.

Try the Event Messenger line from Lowenpro. I also use a canvas bag which doesn't look like a camera bag. Easy to find foam to stop stuff rattling around!

Thank you!

I use a K & F Concept bag when I want to carry all my equipment.

It's comfortable with padded straps and has lots of moveable dividers and pockets for every possible lens and piece of equipment. However, its a fairly big backpack and when I just want to take my camera and maybe one additional lens, I bought the smallest bag I could, from my local camera store. It's about as big as a shoe box and is easily thrown in the back seat if I'm going on a hike and want to make sure I have a camera in case I need it.

Works for me and it's $26.

They have a slightly smaller one that might be perfect for your P1000

Actually that was my first choice. It came and the camera didn't fit. I had to return it. I love Amazon.

Have you gone to a local camera shop?
Compared the "packed" images on placed like B&H to see where what you have may fit?
(A lot depends on the "etc.".)

To me a camera bag is a totally personal choice.
What works for me may not work for someone else, and vice-versa.
For day trips? Hold everything you own?

Sadly the closest thing we have to a camera store is a Best Buy about 50 miles away. I don't consider Best Buy to be a camera store. So, no I have not been to a camera store. I would think about going to NYC, but due to the virus, I can't.
