Great concept for holiday photo! The only problem I see is the back lighting causing the faces to be darker than the backdrop.

Uploading after a photography session, my photos automatically appear in Apple Photos on my Mac. This is fine for basic editing, especially leveling and cropping. When I want to further process in PS, I move my photo of interest to the desktop and then drop it in Photoshop.

This works fine, but is cumbersome. Is there a more efficient way to take the entire batch, after cropping, to PS?

Thank you ...

I run CS6 on a new Macbook Pro. Be sure to deactivate it on your "dying" computer. Then install disc on new Mac with El Capitan. It should be fine.

Eye candy for me. I live on the coast and enjoy observing these guys. Your captures are beauties, just what I'd like to snap, especially the third one.

Beautiful beautiful! Are you still using the Sigma 600mm? Do you still have that and the Canon 400mm with X 1.4? Or did you give up one for the other?

"Classroom in a Book: the official training workbook from Adobe Systems" is a great introduction to the basics of PS. It's available on Amazon.com. It comes with two hours of tutorials on disc from Adobe.

This is the way to get started.

How fortunate you were! Thirst for knowledge took you to an invaluable place, not your standard place of learning. You saw WB's passion, drive, and creations in their gestation ...

Thanks for your postings.

I just jumped in Jim, I guessed their might be an association so I Googled it.

You're both amazing! Over time we have had many photography greats in this area, but I know none of their street addresses. This forum has some awesome members.

Processing abilities yes, but a laptop screen is way to small to process photos on. I use a HDMI connected widescreen monitor for PP work.

Using Thunderbolt?

I agree with others, Love my 15 MBP, I will say to build it out when you buy. I upgraded mine to a 1TB SSD, and 16GIG of RAM.

Thank you. And you like it for post processing?
