Oh...somewhere in there, prolly after the diffuse glow I sharpened the radius to about 5 or so pixels

Oh boy...that's my problem. I don't ever really remember what I do. I jusp mess with it till it looks good to me.
BUT I'm pretty sure I can remember most of it (seeing as I just did it!)
I cropped it tight, gave it some vignette and a little midpoint, diffused glow, took out most of the graininess, turned up the contrast, turned down the brightness just a bit and turned down the saturation to about -10...
I'm pretty sure that's it

I have the Canon 50D. I have heard many bad things about the 60D. I've heard it has an all plastic body. I was looking at upgreading when it came out...but was told by several people not to. The new 7D is back to the original body and I will be opgrading to it soon. Hope that helps a little bit

Here's what I did real quick. I couldn't find that bird so I just used a flower. I used a black background and pink text just so it would show up

I love the font! Maybe make the bird the same color as the text and put the bird right behind the word 'by' and turn down the opacity of the bird. And for the heart you could either put it around the bird or on the bird's chest

Not my place to say anything of the sort to someone who's paying me just to take pictures. And it wasn't close to her at all. It was very far behind her.

Fairly basic work flow in CS4. I started by cropping out what wasn't needed, then I took out the barrel of the gun. I then went to levels (Auto) and the most of my time was spent using Curves in manual mode to get this look. I then sharpened the photograph a bit and here it is.
