Thank you for all of your advice
Just bought a Sigma 120-400 for my T1i. Works great at 250-300 but not so much at 400. If I used a 2x extender and the lens at 250-300 would I get better results?
The one I have will not work on full frame sensors
Try the Sigma 17-70. Great lens
Thanks. I will take a look
Years ago I purchased a Canon T1i with a regular and telephoto kit lens. I upgraded to Sigma 17-70 to replace my short kit lens. This lens is great, cost around $400 and takes very sharp photos. Now I want to replace the kit 55-250 with a lens of similar quality to my Sigma either 250 or 300 zoom. It seems that Sigma makes a low end zoom and a very high end lens with nothing in the middle. Any suggestions?
Thanks pretty fast response
Purchased a great Sigma 17-70 which came with a scalloped lens hood. Why scalloped vs a solid hood.
I bought a Vanguard from b&h for about $170 including shipping. It is very sturdy and has a ball head with a pistol grip. I love it.
It's the first Porta Potty!
Someone told me about this totaly FREE site called Breakfast Stock Club to sell stock photos. After I signed up I got a email from them that if I really want good service then I should pay $49 a month and must sign up in 7 days. Anybody else heard of this service or used them?
If you use photomatrix it can compensate for minor ghosting caused by camera movement during adjustments
