Today I attended an honors conference at the Missouri Capitol with my niece. There are inspirational inscriptions in the marble all around the rotunda and halls. The stair banisters blocked a single 'y' in the first word and made me do that laugh where you try not to laugh and your eyes start to water. First word was actually 'party,' but from my viewpoint, here is what I saw:
"Part Honesty is Party Expediency"

7, 8, and 9 are siblings -- mom is also in 9. Her hands are FULL.

favorite non action shots. One is loved by the player, the other hated!
Oh, it's obvious which one is loved -- top was was taken after a hard-fought loss, a controversial call that caused the player to foul out, or something along those lines. Great shots!

Did it come? Did it come?
I agree with the previous assessments, but my first reaction? She is having fun! That is obvious and what comes across despite the recommended technical changes. What a nice job of capturing this young lady having pure old-fashioned fun.

Always Time for Lillie - Kindergarten sister, senior brother
Enough already
Starting her early -- Band director's daughter
3rd grader made posters for her cousin... and bless his heart....
...he put hugged her and put the posters in his bag to take home...
Boy problems solved during band downtime
Yep, I'm the one who gave a two-year chocolate at 8:00 p.m.
Can't you just feel the mischief coming from Isaac?
Ahhhhh geez Mom -- Don't kiss me in front of my team.
Quick! Run out there and spray your name on it. That way, you won't have to climb the thing late at night. Sure wish it was this close to the ground when I...I mean some other people I heard about... tried to do this many years ago.
Love action sport shots, but sometimes the candid just-turn-and-snap are so doggone cute. Senior night. Last high school game. Lillie just loves her big brother and he always makes time for her. Football pads and a pink puffy coat. Can't ask for better Friday night shots. Maybe I like this because they are both so special to me.
I realize it's best to be level with subject, but he's 6'6" and I am 5'3" --- simply ain't gonna happen without a chair or step.
Always Time for Lillie
Wow. What fun shots. Love to look at others' approaches to the games.

Oh my - there it is, right in front of me. So sorry to have posted in the wrong forum. I do not know how to change it from this forum to the correct one. Maybe an administrator can help? Please. :-)
Thanks for the compliment. It took a while to anticipate the "hot spots," but finally I got it. Soccer is so much faster than football or basketball. And, I had to grin to myself, imagining you running back and forth with the players. I would have passed out before the first whistle. I've been hit many times by torpedo-speed balls and flying bodies. Had a broken toe, exploded sandwich with subsequent mayo hanging from my bangs, sprained pinky finger and torn rotator cuff when I slipped on wet grass. Saved the camera - damaged the shoulder.
Wow. What fun to see these perspectives.
I'll wave next time I go down Highway 60. :-)
If not, please let me know and I will delete them. Love looking at all the shots, but have seen very few sports.
Kid on left is my nephew.
The ending of this made the crowd go "owwwww" when the boys hit the ground.
Some serious footwork.
We tease him all the time about puffing out his cheeks. The balls come flying at his chest, though.
